We Had to use Valet every time we want to park or use car. Tiping becomes an ongoing cost; that can be avoided. I would prefer to park my own vehicle as the garage is very small.

I didn't like everything. They charge you $45 for parking. They charge you $100 extra to the price you have already paid!!! When you check out they add: resort fee, destination fee, state fee, etc - totally $100 more then the price you booked. So totally if you travel by car be ready to pay extra not less then $150. Breakfast was terrible. There were 3 times more people then the tables and chairs! My family had to stay outside we couldn't even enter because it was overcrowded. Food was very primitive. Personal on the reception is not smiling. Jose receptionist talks like he hates every client.
Gym...it is not the gym!!! There is tiny room without equipment. Swimming pool was closed before 7 p.m. even it was written its open until 8 p.m. Generally, guys with kids - forget this place and don't go there otherwise you will be disappointed. I have stayed in many Holiday Inns before and this one is the worst. They cheat you on everything. Of course choice is yours..

Despite my intention to mark higher rating, unfortunately in last day the FO team fail to have my full satisfaction. I asked for only 1 hour late check out (instead of 11 a to be 12p but seems it was completely not possible. which made me wonder that Iโve already stayed 13 nights and paid fully in advance and followed all policies of hotel during my stay specially their HK strict cleaning policy โฆ and finally โฆ โone hour onlyโ seems not possible!!!!!! .
I tried with evening FO shift then night shift then morning shift but they all refused. I believe in hospitality industry โฆ they teach us some fundamentals such as โflexibilityโ specially if it is only one hour, not half day or 4-5 extra hours. I strongly suggest that management should initiate some basic training to their FO team to explain how they can handle guest requests. and try their best to maintain guest satisfaction through little flexibility โฆ

The hotel staff who helped me was very friendly. I had reserved a couple of room together. The staff were able to give me two of the 3 rooms next to each other. Everything was very clean in the hotel and the room.
The staffs at breakfast were excellent! They were friendly, helpful and even gave us a few breakfast items to take home with us. The breakfast bar was awesome. They had eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereals, fruits, cinnamon rolls.
This was our second time staying here. We chose this location because it offers free continental breakfast, it's not far from Universal Studio (8-10 min drive) and it was walking distance (10 min walk) to Hollywood Walk of Fame.
What I did not like about this hotel is that it's right by a very busy street. Coming off from the freeway to the hotel is easy but getting out and trying to make a left turn is not easy. We had to make a right turn then move to the far left to make a left turn and turn back to get on the freeway or Universal Studio. Being that the streets were so busy, and we were so tired from a day at Universal Studios, we didn't want to find a restaurant to eat in with cranky kids, we came back to the hotel and tried to order food in. There were not enough restaurants close by that are easy for family to order from. We ended up getting food from TGIF. The options were so limited half of us did not even order anything. Even with this situation, I still would recommend the hotel.

Really bad customer service at the front desk rude and not willing to answer questions or concerns I had with the fridge making weird loud noises. Parking was extra $49.99 per day I didn't know that. Valet Parking customer service was bad, no nice making me feel uncomfortable.

Get charges $49 a day to park on their property after spending $275 for a room. Booking.com doesnโt include that in your total fees. Surprised and pissed off. Hotel smelled like marijuana. Nedโs were horrible.

Location! The hotel is just a short walk to the Hollywood Bowl with picnic areas along the way. The front desk staff, breakfast staff and valet workers were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was good.
You pay for the proximity to the Hollywood bowl. The same hotel in a different location would be significantly cheaper. Parking is also very expensive at the hotel.

Location was a good match for our plana
Hotel layout is funky. Room on 8th floor. In order to get there; take elevator A to 5th floor and then walk a few corridors to take elevator B to 8th floor. Elevator B goes up but not down, so walk stairs to 7th and go down to 5th and transfer again to elevator A to go down to lobby. Valet only no self park option.

The room was large and located on the upper floor, offering a great view of the city. The hotel is 2 blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and offers easy access to many restaurants and malls. We arrived early, and the hotel did its best to accommodate early check-in. The staff is very friendly and does its best to help and advise. The hotel has very strong free Wi-Fi. They offer a very good buffet breakfast and an outdoor pool -that we didn't use, but it looks very nice.

Elevator was slow. Difficult to exist parking garage. The main entrance was locked for some reason you had to enter and exist hotel through garage. The room had a musty smell when we arrived once we turned on the air the smell cleared up.
