Loved the location, lots of delicious food in walking distance. Great cocktail bar and diner in the hotel building. Rooms were clean and quiet. There was good free coffee in the lobby until 9am. Highly recommend! A really fun budget option in LA.

Very good location close to every place. Very good stuff.
The sound and the vibes of the big air conditions are in the room. Thanks to the stable sound I could sleep but it is soo noisy. Parking is alsฤฑ very expensive 40USD for a night.

The property is an older renovated hotel. The price was reasonable. The room was clean and the hotel staff rebooked me without charge.
The renovation to date is not well done. It has a seedy feel about it, as opposed to a historic property. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the interior was dated. The door to the bathroom would not close. The toilet was three inches from the door and wall.

Good location, close to the metro. The rooms were tidy and clean. The property offered a complimentary wine in the evening and a coffee in the morning which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was some street noise and the facilities are abit dated. Didn't bother us, but might be an issue for others.

No chest of drawers to put clothes. Poor excuse for a refrigerator. Barely cold. No way to adjust temperature. Should not even be in the room if it is useless. Spoiled food which I had to throw away. No microwave oven.

Lovely little hotel with character and charm. Loved the wine and all staff we encountered were friendly enough. Room service was top notch.
There was a dead cockroach on the floor of our bathroom when we arrived but honestly I guess if it crawled in after they made up the room and died then there is no way of them being able to know and remove it. It was gross though. The general smell throughout the hotel is very old. It is an old building but maybe some plug in air freshener or something would make it feel more inviting. also we donโt drive so the location wasnโt great for that but thatโs my fault for not researching more.

- windows could be opened (it seems petty but this is extremely rare in America and my allergies need it
- staff was very friendly
- free wine tasting every evening
- only a microwave in the room

Location, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and they lent us an umbrella and held our bags when we weren't ready to leave the area quite yet.
The security guard at night was walking in the hallway where the bedrooms were and was talking very loudly on the phone. I wish the coffee service runs later than 9 am. We were late in getting coffee on one of the days and it was rough to not have coffee.

It is a perfect location for music venue the Wiltern and near some good restaurants. During the day we like to go to flea markets and it explore the city and this a very nice place to land for this. We really enjoyed our time here.
The only thing that I can think of and it is very small. The cord on the coffee/hot water machine was very short and made it awkward for using. I needed to move it to the side table so that it would reach.
Once again very small dislike.

Loved the historic architecture. Room was modernized (updated bathroom, central AC, etc) so it was a great combo.
If I had to note anything, it would be that the room was a bit small but that really wasn't an issue for me since I was traveling solo. Room had a king size bed so you could sleep 2, but it would be a hit tight.

The location is good near the metro station with lots of Korean restaurants nearby. Free coffee in the morning and wine reception in the evening is a bonus. I also like the room window can be opened so you can get a fresh breeze from outside.
The water pressure in the bathroom is quite weak and hot water is not hot enough. The shower dispensers are difficult to use and very easy to come off the wall. The worst for me was the pillow wasn't soft enough and I had to sleep without the pillow throughout my stay.

The aircon didnโt work in the first room however they were very accommodating and changed our room promptly but then the second room the bath plug didnโt work I had to fashion a manual blockage to have a bath. I loved the historic building but it could do with some up keep.

Great location, just a block away from metro station and central bus stops. Beautiful lobby for vintage enthusiasts. There's also a parking lot (for a fee) right across the corner.
Kind of pricey for what it offers, mostly clean but those with a sensitive nose might have an issue with the smell of the wood used a lot in the interior.

Maybe the paper toilet? But it is the standard model in US. It is not a fault of the hotel, but it is different from Brazil standard. In Brazil, we have softer paper toilet.

Spacious room with a good view, nicely decorated hotel. The location of the hotel was great, lots of rest and grocery stores around.
The internet was terrible it kept connecting and disconnecting the single was weak from the 4th floor I couldnโt watch a movie without reconnecting to the internet multiple times at least once per 5 minutes.

Great location, walking distance from groceries and restaurants
Not one to complain but we had 3 different rooms and would have been a possible 4th if I had bothered asking, for 2 night stay. This was due to the unbelievable poor maintenance of these rooms. 1st room was blowing hot air from the air con. We packed and moved to the 2nd room. Then when the toilet flushed, it completely overflowed out into the bedroom, some of our clothes were wet. 3rd room the air con was mildly warm and was not blowing out the temperature on the actual air con monitor. We honestly could not be bothered to move another time. The reception comped us dinner at their restaurant which wasnโt a big bill since we were full and just needed to take up on their offer. The staff were kind and helpful but we were just so frustrated. The beds were far too soft for us, it felt like a hammock. On top of that, the mildly warm air made it a very difficult nights sleep.

Not a bad location, hotel nice and clean, bed was huge and very comfortable, was quite loud outside and the windows wasnโt very good for sound proof but other than that a nice stay, also be aware the hotel advertises it has parking but parking costs $45 a day on top of the hotel price to be parked by a valet across the road

Very good localisation if you need to be close to public transportation. The place looks a bit old but it's very cosy and clean, with points to the vintage atmosphere and the friendly staff.
The wifi barely worked and when it did it was quite slow. I would recommend to have a unlimited data package in your phone and do not rely on their wifi.

Run down hotel where the air conditioning was broken. My wife is pregnant and they werenโt too thrilled to help us feel comfortable in a timely manner. Bad WiFi, uncomfortable bed, you can hear stomping from the ceiling all day long, and a cloud of bugs as soon as you walk in the door. It just wasnโt a nice stay unfortunately, especially for the cost.
