The room minus the carpeting
The entire place is in need of updating. Especially the carpeting. The location is much worse than what you would expect from such an expensive stay. I found it less than ideal that a guest needs to request a coffee machine for the room rather than that being the standard. The restaurant being closed Monday and Tuesday is not ideal when you are a traveler who arrives early Monday evening. However the restaurant only had a B rating from the health department so that’s another problem. Charging 60.00 plus tax for overnight parking is quite the price gouge. Another thing is that the electric blinds will automatically start to lift which is quite loud during the middle of the night.

Location was convenient.
The room was dirty and depressing. The AC was loud and inadequate. The front desk staff gave me incorrect information about my breakfast credit and therefore I paid for breakfast and thought I could use the credit at the Coffee Shop in the lobby, but that was incorrect so I spent much more money than I expected.

Not good for four people the bathroom wasn’t that clean our shower drain was not working correctly. They had to fix it three times and still wasn’t working good- they were fully booked so we had to stay in that room with a shower that had dirty water coming up. Only good thing was the one front desk. lady was helpful.
Close to KTown food and spas, nice lobby and good coffee
They just renovated the guest rooms as cheap as possible. The bathroom from the 1980s was still there, tarnished shower head. Old sink. The walls they just tore down the drywall and left the concrete to look cool, but left the popcorn ceilings. Overall kind of trashy, just a bunch of rich investors extracting as much $$$ from people who want a cool place but end up just staying in a simulacrum of luxury

The room was nice and the big windows allow a lot of natural light. Lovely views as well. The location is great and the amenities are great
They had someone enter my room without my knowledge because I had a “do not disturb” sign for more than 3 days. I caught them as I was walking in the hallway and I saw someone coming out of my room. They claim it was a wellness check but no phone call or anything was conducted, and they essentially had a stranger enter my room. That kinda ruined the experience, so just fyi.

Nice amenities here—cute lobby bar, very cute pool. But the rooms themselves are horrible. Very uncomfortable beds, essentially twin sized beds that are literally right on top of each other. The rooms are also miniature, the size of a dorm room closet. Finally, even with windows and blinds closed it sounds like the windows are open all night—you hear everything on the city streets below. Also, no amenities in the room—no coffee pot, no microwave, no refrigerator. You need to treat your guests better than this!

The bed and the view from the room was superb. We stayed because we were attending an event at the hotel so it was very convenient.
The bathroom was a little dated and there was no fridge space we could use. Only allowed valet parking which was pricey.

I liked the hotel location in K Town, close to innumerable Korean restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and we took advantage of the outdoor pool & the gym. We drank coffee in the seating area in the lobby.
It's a personal preference but I didn't Iike the unfinished concrete walls. I know the designer was going for a particular vibe but it gave me the impression the hotel was in the middle of a remodel (which it is not).

The automatic shades are nice. The bed was pretty comfortable. The shower was AMAZING! Best shower I've had in a long time - incredible water pressure!
My first night, I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and the room was pitch dark. I tripped on the coffee table and fell against the corner of a metal chair. Pretty sure I cracked a rib. I did not tell the front desk, as there was nothing they could do about it after the fact. I do think motion sensor lighting is important. Hotel rooms are always unfamiliar at first. Also, my room was freezing cold - couldn't get above 64 degrees which is fine for sleeping but miserable when you are awake. I got someone to come look at it, and they explained my only option was to shut off the HVAC during the day. Seemed like not an intuitive solution and would have liked a better option. There was also a set of ports on the desk for USB etc that were not attached to anything which seemed jankety. And the desk chair seemed to be missing the back or else was super uncomfortable.

Nice lobby ambience and pool area, also enjoyed the restaurant Open Aire and the bar staff were great up there. Easy to get a rideshare, very comfy bed and pillows.
The lighting in my room was not good, the bathroom lighting was impossible to put makeup on, and the overhead light in the main room didn’t work. No luggage rack provided to put your bags. The bartender at the lobby bar had zero people skills, he shouldn’t be in a public facing position, it felt like he thought he was doing us a favor making us a drink both times we were there.

I really liked how they had an Alfreds coffee in the lobby. I went there every morning the coffee is great. I appreciated the efficient pick up area in front of the hotel. The shower had great water pressure. Great location with Hmart nearby. I ate at Openaire one night and the food and ambiance was great.
I don’t love the interior design with the cement walls and the bed facing the window. I wish the window had a shade option instead of just two black out curtains because I wanted to be able to have some daylight with privacy. Some of the outlets in my room didn’t work. One morning my shower only made cold water which was a bit annoying.

Great location. On Wilshire in Korea Town. Fantastic restaurant in a greenhouse on the 2nd floor. Pleasant and very helpful desk staff. Good breakfast.
Modern but dated guest room. Room door needed battery change, requiring two trips to the front desk. Room faced noisy Wilshire Blvd. Lack of double paned windows made for a noisy night and fitful sleep. Noisy room ac as well. Shower needs upgrade. Electronic shades malfunctioned.

Everything was really good I’ll come back definitely.
The only thing that I would change is that in the minibar fridge there were no space to put anything else, so even if you bought something from the hotel and wanted it for to go you have to leave it outside the fridge. Apart from that, an amazing stay.
