You could smell marijuana when I walked out of the lobby bathroom. Then on Sunday when we checked out, a employee was dropped off at the under pass while we were outside smoking and she reeked of marijuana when she got out of the vehicle, great otherwise.

Bathroom wasnt clean.. walls had stains and rust , Light fixtures were dusty and rusted. TV wouldnt work.
The CSR Marcus was RUDE. Had a Sassy Attitude and mouth. I called front desk to inform them that my TV didnt work.. he said he was the only person there and it would be a minute. I asked if he was able to just tell me over the phone and he hung up on me instead of responding. I waited almost 3 hrs. Then I went back down and he was RUDE.. he said he could just move me to another room. I didnt want to pack up everything and move to another room. I had been traveling since 2am that morning. That wasnt an option for me when all he had to do was come show me how to work it.
He said he would put a work order in for Maintenance to come Saturday morning.
I was gone to COGIC Convention all day until 5:45pm. I came back and TV still said No Service. I came back down to speak with someone and to my Surprise it was HIM AGAIN.. this time he was like he didnt know if maintenance came because he started his shift at 3pm. Then he said You the one that didnt wanna move to another room when I offered it to you.
I told him I would just contact someone over him in Management and that I wanted money bc for not have the amenities that I paid $500 for. He said he could give back $25.. I told him I didnt see any money return to my account. He said YOU AINT checked out yet! Thats when it will go back.
I just said Thanks and I ended my conversation with him.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Ms. Duffy was very kind and gave us excellent advice on what to do in Memphis. The price-performance ratio is very good, and the location is great as it is close to the airport and to the Graceland mansion. In addition, parking is for free. The rooms and the breakfast are ok. Everything is clean.
It is nothing special, but you get what you pay for. Even though we reserved a room with two separate beds, we got one with a singe kin-size bed. The mirror in the bathroom was partially broken.

Where to start....? The room smelled of mold covered over with a bleachy cleaning solution. There were carpet stains in the room. There was dirt in every corner of the room like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The bathroom - the faucet for the handbasin is not properly located on the sink so water pools on the vanity. There is not even a toilet-roll holder, just toilet paper sitting on the back of the toilet. The faucet in the shower is loose. The floodlights in the parking lot are v. bright and shine directly into the room. The swimming pool was closed (winter) but it does not look like it would be appealing as its basically sitting in the parking lot (with a few bushes around it). One of the staff was very pleasant but the other staff member acted like he was doing us a massive favor by providing an extra blanket (we had paid for a 'studio' but there were no linens for the fold out sofa). Don't be fooled by what looks like new construction - this place is not pleasant.

the hotel is obviously recently built or renovated
lack of integrity of the staff, ie the room wasn't made and instead we received a letter blaming us for not leaving the room except that the time the letter was delivered we were already out and I have a parking lot receipt to prove it (see photo attached) they didn't even change the towels, also, my daughter forgot her sneakers and when we call to try to get them back they never acknowledged seeing them.

Spacious room with king size comfy beds. Nice big bathroom. Everything was super clean. Breakfast very good with healthy options. Safe parking in the rear of the hotel. Walking distance to Graceland. Easy to get on the Memphis highway system to go see sights like National Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Marlowes - a well known BBQ restaurant - is also close by.
I usually go for a morning walk/run but I felt unsafe doing that because of the lack of sidewalks and the heavy traffic.

Friendly breakfast staff.
The full blast, very noisy A/c unit could not be switched off in our room and the hotel had no access to a maintenance guy (at 4pm!!). They also claimed they had no spare rooms to move us to. This resulted in a sleepless night and although they changed our room for our second night the manager was unapologetic and offered no compensation for the terrible experience. We complained direct to Booking.com who also attempted to contact the manager, who again was unresponsive. We also complained to Holiday Express direct who ignored our message.

Set back from the road the property is relatively quiet most of the time. Standard rooms for a HIE hotel. Breakfast with reasonable choice, kept well stocked through the service period. Secure parking. Not far to Graceland, but hotel provides shuttle bus service to there (and return) and also to the airport.
Not much - but weirdly the airport noise was noticeable from Midnight onwards (engine thrust noise). Not that bad but something to be prepared for if you are a light sleeper. We turned off the aircon which would probably disguise the noise anyway.

The location was good. The pool was a really great added feature.
One of our family members had a foul smell in the corridor on level 2. They reported it but nothing was done until someone else complained the next day. Unfortunately, that was too late for us as we only stayed 2 nights.

Near Graceland. Lady who took us to Graceland was very nice.
Poor conversation with booking.com - didnt find our updated booking and were not helpful at all. Had to make a whole new booking for another price (We do no price match).
A/C couldnt be turned off
Carpets are filthy and rooms are old. Breakfast area small.
Sorry too expensive for what you get.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good.
Room smelled of mold/mildew, carpet was wet in the room when we arrived, and only 1 ice machine worked in the whole building.
