Rooms were outdated for the price, the shower was broken, and only had cold water, when asked if there was an option for late check, front desk said no and hung up the phone, then called back and asked how late. The room was freezing cold, and the covers were thin.

The location is good because it's across the street from the beach, rooms are small, the bathroom was very hot when we closed the door to it. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no refrigerator or a microwave.
Just need to clarify that the restaurant and the hotel are not managed by the same company. I did have a nice experience with a waiter called Martin, very friendly and the breakfast included with your stay was satisfying.
The elevator kept getting struck on different floors, so the person in the front office would have to fetch it and bring it down. One problem we had was with the night person at the front desk, I was told her name was Wilma, my bother and his wife was waiting for the elevator for about 10 minutes and they pointed this out to Wilma, and her reply was 'you need the exercise so you should use the stairs" mind you their room was on the 2nd floor and ours in the 3rd floor, they explained the they both have knees problems and her reply was " then you should have ask for a 1st floor room" my brother responded that if they have a working elevation that would not matter, she kept mocking at them and making sarcastic remark and laughing, after my brother insisted that they needed the elevator, she decided to do her job and go fetch the elevator. When she brought the elevator down and my brother and his wife got in, she continued to make smart remarks and laugh at them and told them that next time, not to come back to the hotel. They must of waited about 30 minutes for the elevator. The next morning, I asked for the manager's name and phone but was declined and was only provided with a first name of Justin and an email, which probably does not work. They refuse to give me a phone number. We did ask some of the cleaning staff about Wilma, and they indicated that people do complain a lot about her. Which seems to show that management doesn't care how she treat their customers, which is sad.

Our bed the first few days we were sleeping on a box spring (unacceptable). Then the electricity went and we couldn’t sleep because of no electricity. Also, we had to get breakfast elsewhere. We were able to stay until 4pm.

This was my 2nd time staying there and will be the last. First experience was great, good hospitality and all. This second experience was not what I expected, when we arrived our tv in the room was not working, they moved us to another room great. The last night: when I woke up to go to the restroom, I saw a cockroach and could not go back to sleep (4am) we were supposed to stay for breakfast, but I told my husband let's GO! I mentioned it to the lady up front and she said her manager was not available. I told her they needed to bomb she said they had just sprayed. No one contacted me about it so this is my honest opinion.

Hotel was good. Especially for the price. Fantastic location, right in the center of miami, everything within walking distance (at least for europeans..). Surprised by low rating, this hotel is far above expectations. You cannot expect Four Season's stay experience without paying a Four seasons' price tag. Breakfast came included (basic but does the job), taxi service from the airport included (one less thing to think about). For anyone in their 20's this is ideal accommodation. I was panicked after reading everyone else's review and our stay great. No problems with the workers, no problem with towels and amenities etc
nothing. This is exactly what I expected for a hotel like this. You are paying for what you get. Classic small issues like loud AC, window view of a brick wall etc. But boohoo.. for anyone complaining, pay another $300 per night and stay at a 5* hotel

I like the location it was close to the beach, and the hotel restaurant was awesome.
The only thing I had a problem with you couldn't do cash for the deposit, and I booked through a 3rd party that charged me for the third person but once I got to the hotel, I had to pay again. I'm still waiting on my deposit refund.

The location could not be beat. It's right on Ocean Drive plus the restaurant in front had great food. The beach is literally across the street
You have to walk through the restaurant to enter the hotel which is inconvenient with your luggage. Since the hotel entrance is also the way the wait staff brings items in and out from the kitchen to patrons, there is alot of traffic, and none of them were willing to hold the door or help with luggage. The king bed was so uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on a box spring only. Our first day there, the water heater was broken and the first shower I took there was freezing. When the front desk was asked about the hot water, we were told it was being fixed, should be working by the end of the night, but no discount or voucher would be given. If your looking for rest this is not the place because the music is played late into the night but that was ok for us because we were.there for the South Beach experience. Even though the beach is right across the street, the hotel does not offer beach chair service. However they do offer beach towels. The booking info stated breakfast is included but what is truly included is a very specific menu, almost like a continental breakfast, so if you want any of their real breakfast items you will have to pay for it.

Had to go every morning for clean towels downstairs in PJs. Only cleaned our room once. Very very small room especially for 4 girls trying to get ready. Had to pack every night just to have space. The shower has no pressure. No fan in bathroom have to use window. The plumbing makes a lot of loud noise even wakes us up. We were in first floor very noisy in morning with kitchen and hearing ice machines. Door entry is not always working have to try multiple times. Outlets are loose and chargers pop out constantly. Beds were hard. Pillows were think.

The location was the best part. Right across from the beach. Food was amazing as well. Staff took care of us and were friendly. It was clean and comfortable.
The only thing I would "complain" about is the noise. It was very loud at night until really late. Staff and other guests. But it is Miami on the strip so just bring your earplugs!

The gentleman at desk was exceptional. We were there several hours before the posted check in time and he was super polite and accommodated us. He looked and our room was available so he allowed us to check in. While we didn't use the service I did notice that they were holding luggage for people to check out and in. Allowing there patrons to enjoy the beach.
We received a voucher for breakfast at the in house restaurant but it only included like 2 things on the menu. But overall it was great.
