The Westin Minneapolis - Minneapolis

This downtown Minneapolis hotel is 4 minutes from the Minneapolis Convention Center and features an on-site restaurant and indoor pool. Modern rooms are furnished with a 42-inch flat-screen cable TV. Coffee machines and a hair dryer are also included in each of the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

The main part of the building was under construction. There was no kitchen. The bar was a makeshift one in the basement and was not stocked, but still charged like it was high class. The TV in our room was stuck on retail settings that took up part of the screen. I feel ripped off from this experience.

Enjoyed the convenience of our location. Went to Minneapolis to see a concert at the Target Center and was able to walk there and to other local restaurants. Room was comfortable, however wish there was a microwave, normally rooms have that but it's okay.

The hotel's restaurant was undergoing construction and there was zero prior notice, which included any snack / drink services. With that, there was no vending machine for snacks or beverages, so guests were expected to have that prior to arriving or dealing with nothing. There wasn't any explicit directions on what parking was sponsored / owned by the hotel, so when arrival we parked in a non-sponsored lot and wasn't able to come and go when wanted. Pictures for this style room were in accurate, so when walking in quite disappointing. While checking in a young man was quite rude and harsh with his responses to me. Again, no micro wave in the room, so even if we had snacks to heat up we were not able to.. Definitely did fit mine or my family's expectations and will probably not book with you again.

This hotel and staff is HORRIBLE!!! Rude unprofessional workers no off street parking they charge 35$ to park for the night in an unsecured parking garage with nothing but homeless and seemingly seedy activity surrounding the entire block

I requested a handicap room but encountered steps to front desk, no bell boy. In A.M. no bell boy and no cart for luggage. Parking full and had to park a block down and pay $60.00. I am 83 and my husband is handicapped a real ordeal. Never again!
