Room is clean, relatively quiet, and also dark enough during daytime, for naps and sleeping in. Staff is extra friendly and accommodating. Location is definitely the selling point of this hotel.
Outside the room however, there's really not much. Corridors are not the tidiest, can sometimes smell, and can be too narrow or claustrophobic.

Great location. Clean. Best value for a small group out there. Look no further for a functional value hotel, right in the thick of it. All the little extras you need: fridge, hair dryer, safe, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a couple of free waters. Noon checkout and you can leave your luggage for free, so really helpful to make your stay in NYC easy.
Room is compact and basically windowless, but as expected at this price range.

Really great location. Rooms were really clean and spacious. We moved room after 2 nights as more people joined us, we were able to move as soon as we vacated the first room.
Free bag storage the day we checked out was also a bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Couldn't open windows so bathroom did get a little steamed up.

The TV did not work in our room. We could only get one channel, ABC. After 10 or so minutes the TV would ask if you were still watching and to press okay but none of the buttons worked on the remote except for power and volume so you had to turn the TV off and start fresh. The bed was directly next to the window unit AC, I had trouble sleeping with the noise. If the AC was turned off then it was stuffy in the room. No windows that lead to outside. The window we had led to a pipe room? Complete darkness at 10am in the room. So if you want the sun to wake you, maybe do not get room 307. Not sure if there are other rooms with real windows?

Doxie is a centrally located hotel minutes from NY's Penn Station. There are not many facilities but the room was clean and spare with a spartan but adequate amenities.
There was no real place besides your room and although the room was a quad there was only space for one bag/hanging area and one chair.

It was our first trip to NYC with our two teenagers. The room was perfect, having the option of two twins and a queen. While the space is small, it had everything we needed - comfortable beds, clean bathroom, extra plugs and bed shelves for chargers, etc. The staff was super accommodating with early check in and luggage check. The location was great close to Times Square and the guacamole at the taco shop next door was delicious!

Location was incredible. Baggage storage was a big plus. Room has everything you need. Lots of sights accessible from the hotel.
The water for the shower wasn’t the best. It would run hot and then cold which was a bit annoying but didn’t spoil our time. Bed was a memory foam bed so was quite hard but we after a couple of nights we got used to it.

We were surprised at first of the exact location looked like shoved in between two buildings, how ever very clean, the staff very polite. Got to the room very compact, very clean , the only thing missing was the microwave. The bed was good but soooooo hardddd.

Great price ( for NYC) and Fantastic location! Close to times square station that has stops for almost every train. 15min ride to anywhere in the city. A/C worked great! The Television was very underwhelming. One channel and the remote only worked if you stood by the tv ... otherwise, you had to like one channel tv.

The hotel is pretty much central to everyting including restaurants, bars, Penn Station, Broadway shows, etc.. The subway will get you pretty much everywhere else. The check-in process was fast and easy. The room was large enough to fit 5 people. The shower water was hot and had excellent pressure. They gave us 2 towels per person which was a huge bonus. The beds were really comforatble and we slept well.
The whole experience was excellent. I have no feedback.

Great location in the Garment District and blocks from Penn/Moynihan Hall as well as Metro stops. Friendly staff. Elevator. Tiled bathroom, water-saving toilet, and excellent showerhead. Good lighting. Extra-long beds (twin) as advertised. Gave us a to-go snack bag when we checked out (a first)!
