One off the stafmembers was rude to my children and wife because the did not enter the elevator fast enough after useing the basement toilet. Which was inconvenient.

Location was amazing. So close to Union Square and public transport.
no air-conditioning and thus had to rely on fans. No fly screens so could not open windows for fresh air as I did not want flies coming in. Only fly screen was in bathroom.
No in room coffee making facilities. Had to go downstairs-was an inconvenience
And one night fire alarm went off and it was unable to be determined what caused it, so the decision was made to turn the detection system off for the night and get it looked at in the morning. NO NO NO. Unless you are putting all of your guests up in alternative accommodation to keep them safe, this is dangerous and illegal. You need to know that your guests are safe at all times. This was so disappointing. I should have called them up on this that night. In future I will.

The location is very good and, for the price, I wasn’t expecting breakfast. There are much more expensive hotels that don’t even offer that. It’s not a big breakfast, but they have coffee and pastries that do the trick, and for a couple of days that really solves the issue. They also offer free coffee and water 24/7. Everything is very convenient and staff was helpful.

The location was perfect! A cable car stop right around the corner and also in walking distance to the main tourist places. Everything was perfectly clean, staff friendly and helpful. If you like to stay in old buildings with character and charme this is a great opportunity!

The hotel's location is amazing to explore San Francisco. In front of the hotel, there is a valet parking with a reduced rate for hotel customers (35$/night instead of 40$).
No breakfast included, but there are free sweet pastries and coffee/tea at reception every morning from 7-10am.
No fridge or microwave in the room, but there is a shared microwave at the reception. Ice machine was out of order.

This hotel offers an exceptional value for money. The location is excellent, close to most city attractions, many restaurants and coffee shops around, very friendly staff, tea and coffee around the clock, tasty pastry for breakfast.
Not much, really. The hotel does their best for the cost of staying. I liked that they make the stay in the city centre comfortable and more affordable.

The room was clean, the towels were snow-white. The mattresses were comfortable. Cable TV was connected. The bathroom and toilet were clean. We slept well. We were checked in at 11:00 am. There were no problems with early check-in. The staff is very polite and calm. Coffee and tea are available at the reception until 10:00 pm. They also had some buns for breakfast, let's go try them. Honestly, for this price, the conditions are good. I didn't expect to see such a price for this money.
The furniture is a bit old.

Comfortable room, in a quite neighbourhood. Complimentary coffee, hot water or tee at any time and sweet, very good fresh breakfast in the morning (muffins and other seets).
Hotel is located in a safe districts, close to BART and walking distance to start any sightseeing in the city center.
We read about the specific smell and indeed - due to strong chemical cleaning there is a specific smell, mostly in the corridors

We arrived at the hotel at 8:30AM to drop off our luggage. Imagine our surprise when the front desk said they had a room available for us. The location was perfect for our stay with easy access to public transportation. We also walked easily enough to Chinatown, the Powell Street cable car and the Powell Street BART terminal.
Pastries were available for breakfast and coffee/tea was available all day.
The bed was harder than I'd like. The pillows a little flat (although there were extra pillows I was too tired to get up and get them). The ice machine in the lobby was out of order.
