Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The location is a little rough...to no fault of the hotel/staff there is a garden bar directly next door which had extremely loud music playing that could be heard (and felt) even on the 14th floor from 3pm to at least 7pm. Thankfully by the time we returned from a night at the ballet (past 11pm), the bar was closed and our room was actually quite peaceful.

Decent breakfast. Good service and a the resort fee is actually something you'll use.
Its an older building so the hallways are a bit narrow. The location is OK but its right on the edge of the tenderloin so nighttime can be a bit sketchy.

Very nice staff. We got many benefits, such as $25 credit for food & beverage, glass of Champagne, Cable car ticket, etc. Recently remodeled condition.
The location is right in the downtown center, but there are too many homeless people living on the nearby streets.

Very helpful and friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, great bar/lounge, very clean accomodation, hotel offers free tea/coffee throughout the day
Unclear breakfast payment rules with vouchers; somehow "risky" neighborhood, especially at night with many drug addicts; expensive and unsecured car parking lot next to hotel, better and cheaper to use public parking below Union Square

Staff were very nice and considerate, very attentive
Were not given the size room we reserved, beds were uncomfortable, could hear clearly everything going on in the rooms around us all night and down the entire hallway. Slept very little and were sore from trying.
Edit after response: Didn't realize we were in a smaller room until we returned to our room around 11pm. No point complaining about the noise - it wasn't people partying, it was just doors opening and closing, people flushing toilets and walking down the hallway, and the elevators going up and down - and we weren't close the elevators. There's no reason to believe any other room would be better.

Good location. Good-sized, clean, comfortable room. Felt safe. Price was reasonable, given the location and that it included a good breakfast.
Reception forgot to give you a voucher for breakfast, which caused a bit of confusion there. Bathroom fan was on the louder side, but manageable.

The location is nice. The staff is friendly and supportive. The rooms are not too small, medium-sized. The bed is comfortable. Tips are generally expected and appreciated, though not forced at all.
There were no vegetarian options for breakfast except for parfait (which was great!) and juice.

The staff of the breakfast salon behaved very, very badly and they brought food very late with very bad service
The staff's behavior was extremely unprofessional creating an uncomfortable atmosphere and making my stay unpleasant. Secondly, the condition of the room was unacceptable. There was no water or tissue beside the bed, and the TV was not functioning. These are basic amenities that I expected to be in working order. Additionally, the restroom in the lobby was dirty, which is unsanitary and gives a poor impression of the hotel's standards.

The cost of overnight parking. But the whole area is similar. It was close to the “bad” area of town and would not recommend walking too far from hotel. But I always felt safe, and even walked to nearby pizza place with kids at 10pm at night.

Property ok
Home less everywhere people shouting in the street late at night had to pay extra for parking I thought it came with the room ended up being another $100 dollars so making the stay almost double the cost which was a bit of a cheek as I thought parking was included.
You may want to make that more clear on your web site so people don’t get that nice surprise.

The bed was not clean and the sheets were clearly not changed after the previous guest. Hair was all over the bed and still needed to explain that to the cleaner so she can replace it. Expected more than this level for the money paid. The pricing for the valet parking is ridiculously expensive $80 a night!
