The location is perfect.The property is near Fisherman’s Wharf. The HoHo Bus pass by the hotel itself.

The hotel did not have ample staff to assist guests with their luggage. We had several huge luggage and the staff at the reception told us that they do not have bellboy/ porter service to assist us. This was a big let down for us.

Staff was surly, elderly and impatient with little or no empathy for Guests. At one point we were told, 'that's not my problem!' Never had a hotel brand show that attitude before (ever! in 40 years of travelling the world) Reception staff was matter-of-fact, although Rachel was almost apologetic to the excess charges being forced onto Guests. The Daily Destination Charge was a complete scam! Parking charge of USD 75 was also an irritant - so we did the drill of a Daily Car Rental! Laundry machine for self-laundry was a joke! Free detergent from the Reception and Coins for Cash ridiculed the image of it being a Marriott hotel... But the cake was taken by the absence of a Bell Boy or help of any kind with our 7 pieces of luggage. I personally helped an elderly couple (in their late 70's) load and push their large Hotel trolley to the elevator. Confirmed to me the gap between the marketing campaigns vs the dismal reality of Marriott - now a money grabbing, commercial enterprise!

The prices were very high in the bar and breakfast buffet was $35 each. $20 for a 5 year old.. no baggage kept at hotel after checkout. Referred to another hotel which was $4 for each piece of luggage plus tax. I would not book this hotel again

The room not so spacey for a family. The WiFi was very poor. The digital credit/ or debit was not accepted. The checkout was not possible to be done the previous evening. The restaurant service was very poor and the food was poor in quantity and quality. We arrived very tired after 19 hour of flight and check in was very complicated and difficult.

I was charged twice for my booking and had I not noticed it would have been very difficult to rectify given I was only there for a few days. Manager quickly revoked the second transaction but it took some time to be reflected on my account. Staff were not that welcoming (they smile but don't seem that happy).

Good location close to fisherman’s wharf and some key attractions- Golden Gate Bridge, street trolleys (trams), fisherman’s wharf.

Staff were horrendous. Didn’t care at all about the (paying) customer. Service at breakfast was awful. Total rip off. $9 (plus tax) for a measly bagel; $14 (plus tax) for yoghurt waiter poured coffee and didn’t say you had to pay for it. Then said it’s $6 (plus tax) and tasted like crap! There’s a Starbucks on the next corner where you can get a proper coffee for $4 or across the road at Eight Am. Didn’t even tell us about the free bike hire. Not a mention at all which annoyed me as I bought separate bike hire

No pool unfortunately. Hotel won't hold bags if you have a late departure, you need to go next door to Hotel Caza who will hold bags which you need to book online through a 3rd party app.

the hotel was clean, amazing and in a strategic position in the city. SanFran is already a city you can easily discover, but thanks to the AMAZING and SUPER FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL staff, it was even easier. Everything was special. Communication through booking messages was really tough tho.

the only thing you should work on is the communication through email and booking, because it was really slow, and i saw that the staff was really numerous compared to other hotels, even if the work amount is surely higher.

Nice and clean room, good location and safe parking garage.

When arriving at the hotel, a additional 30eu / day was mandatory and could be used e.g. for breakfast or at the bar. We did not want to use it for breakfast, because we wanted to eat in the city and the bar closed very early so difficult to use there. Although it was mentioned in the small letters of our reservation, this is a scam of 30 euros per day that you might not even be able to use.

The room was pretty good, and the housekeeping staff were consistently excellent and accommodating. The location is extremely good if you're visiting San Francisco regarding things to see/do and how easy it is to get transport.

I had a fairly long stay, but the fire alarm went off twice in a week. That was quite annoying, there was no fire thankfully but while leaving the hotel and waiting at the muster point, there was no notable guidance from staff. If it was a real fire, that's less than ideal. The most annoying thing was that I paid for my reservation on booking.com. However, the hotel did not register my payment and charged me again for my stay. I got no help from the staff at the front desk while trying to explain my situation, and it took a long while after contacting support to get my money back. I had to send my receipt of payment multiple times. Honestly the hotel offers good value for money but the lack of help from the front desk and lack of transparency about how they're charging me makes it hard to recommend.

It was a good location near Fisherman’s Wharf which is a central tourist location. They provided a restaurant which was reasonably priced and good food.

I had to check out before leaving the area and the luggage lockers were outsourced and a bit pricey.
