The room was cleaned every day and stocks replenished. Bed was comfy, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Attached bar played soccar for us, staff gave me selotape to fix my glasses, let us leave our bags till late the next day. Just exceptional
The neighbourhood isn't great. Few worrying looking characters nearby that caused my son alarm but as an adult it's ok.

I absolutely love the cozy lobby area, the amazing French bakery in the lobby, the super cool Backyard which is a cool garden area with lights and a fire pit. The rooms are great with little extras that will make you glad to get in bed at the end of your day. Beds are really comfortable and pillows are perfect.
The parking situation in the city just sucks in general but it's not the hotels fault.

The staff was very helpful when we checked in.
Come during the night the guest that were in the other room next to us were so loud and making so much noise that it was impossible to sleep. They kept the noise till 4:00 in the morning. It was a horrible night.

Beds were very very comfy and the staff were very attentive and nice! The breakfast was nice. Good for a short stay in SF. Location is right in the centre near many tourist attractions.
Our rooms and the property itself didn’t look as the images suggest, more outdated than the photos seen on Booking. The breakfast is limited to one plate per person and is a restaurant type rather than a buffet. Location was a bit unsafe

Location is great steps away from downtown union Square right down the street from restaurants, food, and entertainment. Walking to distance to all major public transportation like a 15 minute walk to the pier
Have to keep your head up at all times as its a shelter next door and its alot of homeless people out. Make sure you know exactly where you're going as its a little sketchy in that area. Watch your phone and surrounding area

The room was filthy. The bath had dirt in it and there was red stuff (not sure of it was bodily fluids or sauce) on the lamp between the two beds. I had 4x34kg suitcases that the staff did not help carry from the curb to into the motel lobby.

The staff were very friendly. Room was big and beds very comfortable, massive tv with Netflix. I used the exercise room which was small but met my needs, (was more of a converted store room) had a peloton bike, rowing machine, weights and a couple of mats. Very close to market street/Powell transport as well as Mason St diner and Pinecrest diner (24hrs)
Room was dated and window looked out on light well so needed to keep shutters closed as overlooked. Room decor dated - think there was other refurbished rooms. Only a bath with shower, when I asked if we could change to walk in shower (was with elderly mother) told that not possible at our room price.

Location close to union square. Bathroom small but clean.
Poorly maintained property. Dingy, dirty, poorly maintained. Fitness center had peloton but they didn't even bother replacing the clip on pedals with standard pedals to bike with sneakers. This is one of many examples of things that are overlooked or not maintained.

The hotel is located in a neighborhood full of crime. There were homeless people and drug addicts lying on the sidewalks. The hotel itself is old and run-down.
The most traumatic part was that as soon as I entered my room, I heard gunshots outside. I ended up sleeping with a chair pushed against the door, and I placed a hanger from the closet through the door handle because I was afraid someone might enter my room while I was asleep, especially since you did not provide a proper interior locking mechanism for the room.
I felt unsafe throughout my stay, and this is not the level of security, comfort, or accommodation that I expected when booking this hotel.

First impression, tried to call and contact the hotel and couldn't get anyone to answer. Then upon arrival the sheets in the room were stained and dirty. We were able to switch rooms and if we were staying any longer we would have switched hotels.

I stayed here for pride and the location was perfect walking distance from the parade. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is very beautiful and clean. I didn't get to check out the gym but the waiting area was very nice.
Honestly such a weird and disappointing experience. The pictures weren't very accurate to the actual state of the rooms. The parking was very misleading. It said that it was available and then when we got there there was only valet for $65. We were told by staff about cheaper options which was nice. The wifi was incredibly slow and lagged the entire time. The tub faucet dripped, there was a hair on one of the towels, our window was broken and didn't close right, and most of all the door didn't lock!! We stayed for 2 nights and the second night that we were heading out, I turned around to check the door and it just opened without the key. The lock was not engaging. We went and asked staff for help and they agreed that it was a major problem, and were assured that they would fix it. We got the okay to leave and go on with our plans, but when we came back later that night the door still didn't lock. Even with the bolt, the door still didn't lock. For the price of the rooms, you would think that the rooms would be a little nicer and that you wouldn't have security issues.

The hotel looks nice. The staff was super helpful and friendly. My room looks clean. The hotel is in the heart of downtown which I love. There is a lovely restaurant and a coffee shop downstairs in the lobby.
I didn't like that there are so many noises outside the hotel. I can hear sirens going off, people screaming at night, and loud music blasting outside my room. It's so hard to get a good night sleep with the constant noises outside the hotel room. But I guess that's what you get staying in downtown SF.

It had a location that was walking distance, clean rooms
Boarded onto the tenderloin so saw a lot of homelessness around the hotel, fitness centre was small and filled with rubbish. Rooms were clean but a shirt was still hanging in the bathroom from previous guests.
