Honestly I didn’t like anything about it!
The location was ehh, the conditions of the room though were not at all what it portrayed in the photos! I feel like I was completely misled. The beds were not comfortable as others stated they were. The room was so dark and gloomy, it felt like we were in a dungeon. Even my kids didn’t like the vibe. The shower didn’t drain as it should. A typical shower felt like a bath, perhaps the other side of the hotel was the upgraded part but the part that we were in were very old and dingy.

Bed was big, comfortable and clean. There was heating and the manager was really helpful and gave some good recommendations and advice about not leaving valuables in the car.
We stayed one night and it was adequate. It had a bed, a T.v. that was playing the Back to the Future trilogy (which we enjoyed) the bathroom was tidy and had hot running water.
The room smelt damp - the carpet needs to be replaced and there is a sign in reception saying that there are chemicals in the building that can cause cancer and birth defects (if pregnant) - we suspected this to be asbestos.

Not a lot...
I arrived earlier. The feedback was: No rooms till 2:30pm. The guy did not bother to check. He did not show any effort of doing anything to help.
The lobby looks nasty.
Then, when he gave me the room, he added $25/day for parking as I arrived in a car. I remember it was written free parking in the description of the place. His response was: "Many companies are charging now for parking". He did not even try to make the impression it was a mistake. Sort of poor blackmail.

The rooms are old and wouldn’t have been renovated since the 90’s (the photos appear to reflect when they were first opened). It smelt old and mouldy. The bathroom is very old and small, the basin was in the room which was odd. No facilities in the rooms (eg. a small bar fridge) and the facility has no restaurant / gym etc.

It was just as described. It is an older property, so rooms are older as well, but was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. The location was good. Parking on property. Some coffee and food locations right next door came in handy.
Parking is already hard enough in the city and there was a parking charge per night.

Staff were all so great, friendly, helpfull, efficient, Fatima even lent us an umbrella cause it might rain.
Rooms are decent, had pretty much what we needed. Clean. Cleaned everyday.

First room they gave us had a musty smell to it which was a king bed and no fridge. The room they gave us was 2 double beds but was told it was a $10 upgrade but they were nice enough to wave it. Then when inquired about breakfast we were told they didn't serve breakfast even though the website said it did.
The location wasn't that desirable, $25 a night for parking and no breakfast as posted online.

Great location for taking in the sights of San Francisco. Large room size and was fairly quiet at night. There is plenty of clothes storage and the use of an iron and safe. It worked for the short stay i was there. There was free suitcase storage after check out and Free wifi.
There wasn’t a restaurant with the property although there is plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. No fridge, microwave or Kettle with the room. The decor is a little dated but not too bad.

No free breakfast like promised when I booked the hotel and the tried telling me I had to have a credit card to check in and I already pre-paid which was the only reason they accepted my debit card and not around many stores and fast food restaurants and they steal guests deposits and accuse guests of things their not guilty of doing

Fairly good location
Old furniture, that smell of old things. The shower was lower than me and the bath place is too small for people higher than average.
Also, there were people smoking marijuana in living area Saturday night. That smell came into my room all night along.

Lift available but it needs an update. The plug socket in our room was flickering in the night which was concerning you could also hear the plant running in the basement which wasn't ideal.
The toilet is tiny but the shower was ok. In the grand scheme of things it was expensive but compared to other hotels in San Fran its not bad.

Really friendly staff. Great location just a few minutes’ walk from the piers and attractions. Parking was right there, and safe. They let us keep our luggage safe with them on check out day, and had great advice about the city, safety, and attractions. Room was a lot nicer than we were expecting and had a great kitchenette (they gave us a free upgrade!!!) some have said the rooms were dated but I saw that as a feature - the bathroom and kitchenette were IMMACULATE, clean, and lovey, and looked straight out of the 1950s. Hairdryer and soaps were provided and ironing board and iron, TV, fridge, cooker and microwave. Staff were so friendly. Parking was extra, but it is extra everywhere. Staff gave us some great recommendations for where to eat, and a lovely diner just around the corner was marvellous. It’s a motel, so I don’t want to “over-egg” it, but we really enjoyed our stay - and please pass on our thanks to staff.
