Close to the beach, swimming pool, we had a corner room on the first floor as requested. The younger man was very nice and helpful and tried to help as he could. Promptly received additional blankets and sheets when asked for the pull out sofa. Ladies that delivered were very nice and polite. It was close to everything in the area.
Smell, room was dirty. Had to go out and buy cleaning supplies before unpacking and settling down. Everything in room was broken from ceiling tiles missing in bathroom, lamps not working in bedroom, refrigerator froze all the food, stove knobs were broke, oven was dirty, microwave was filthy, sink leaked ( they fixed this) but got fussed at for using towels in the room to stop water from getting everywhere. I guess they wanted me to use my personal clothes. It felt like a scolding conversation everyday to get towels and toilet paper especially from the man that worked at night. I was questioned about how many towels and rolls that I needed. I was traveling with 4 kids so only imagine what I needed. When requesting towels I was continually ask did I bring the old towels as It appeared I was expected to bring the towels to them and get my towels from the front desk. Always stated they were going to bring the towels but never did. Everything in the room was sticky but I think this was just from us being uncomfortable with the room and surroundings. I travel a lot for work and read a lot of reviews prior to booking but wanted to give it a chance as sometimes reviews are not accurate. This is not a place for a respectable family with children as there is nothing but drinking, smoking drugs, inappropriate language and people staring at what you are doing all the time. This is a place for those that can’t afford a beach front and do not have any respectable standards especially when watching f their children. We mostly stayed at the beach and in the room as the atmosphere around the motel is not desirable and pleasant. I knew as soon as I arrived that a place that has a sign that this is a drug free motel would be full of it. I tried to find another place on the first night w arrived but nothing was available for the size of family so we managed and rode it out for the 8 days we stayed since I had already spent the money.This is not a family motel.
