Shower water pressure was low. TV needed work. It would have been nice to retire in the evening with a show or watch the local news and weather as we dressed for the day.

The staff weren’t too bothered, especially the person at check out. The axillary staff were very loud outside the rooms as well as the air conditioning, which we had to turn off to get some sleep.

This older hotel was exactly what I was looking for. While it did not have all the amenities of a 4 star hotel, I was not expecting these and was glad to not pay for all the extras that I do not need or use. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great; near many restaurants, transportation, entertainment, stores, and the city sites. I will defiantly be staying there again next year when I return for annual meetings.

Extremely dark room, AC right above the head on the bed, loud ventilator in bathroom, water takes very long to get hot, no closet to put clothes, very easy to hear neighboring guests all across the hallway even when they are just speaking on phone or listening to music or showering, more than 10 internets for the same hotel but all were broken during my entire stay but staff did not inform one and charged the same price

Everything. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful, the room was clean & stocked with toiletries & towels, & the location is near everything (grocery, metro, restaurants, bars, clubs), & there was even free water & coffee in the lobby.
I was concerned when it was late in the evening & the front hotel building door was locked. It was after midnight. But I assume it was for safety reasons. I just had to ring the doorbell to enter & it was fine from there.

We booked this hotel, dus to the location of it besides center of Washington. In 15 min walk, you are in front of White house!
The smell from the room and the fact that there were not praking lot, which was a problem, since we needed to park at 10-12 min walk distance and we needed to carry the luggages on that way.

To me this place was just ok. But for the price paid, you shouldn’t expect more. It is an older building and the room was clean but it is definitely dated. They do not offer any coffee or tea, and there is no refrigerator. In summary, this is just the bare basics.
The window ac unit was loud. You can clearly hear the street by the window which the bed is right next to. Water in the shower is boiling hot.
