I was expecting much more from the description on the website. There was no Barista cafè bar but instead, a table against a wall with self serve coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea from Krieg coffee machines. This was nothing like the description. There was no bar on the dirty rooftop and nothing much else. The website was misleading I feel about the property amenities.

My credit card was charged the full balance of the room twice in addition to the $125 security deposit. This made my checking account overdrawn for my entire trip. I expected the room charge and the deposit, but being charged a second time for the same room for one night Was horrible. I could not shop or do many things due to the overcharge.

They charged extra payment with the “amenity packages”, around 50$ per night. But it wasn’t seem on booking.com. Besides, there isn’t housekeeping service free. The water on the bath wasn’t enough hot.

The location was great.
You’re not greeted quickly. Stood at the front desk for awhile while staff chatted in the doorway of the office nearby before checking in. We were told we were too early for 1pm check in..at 1pm. Supposedly an added benefit. We were originally charged $40 more than what we booked for but they did correct it. Could hear the water in the pipes non stop. Beds were incredibly hard. Paying $50 extra per night for pointless “amenities” is a scam. If you book through booking.com you don’t get all of the “amenities” but you still are charged the same amount. You can get the same exact deals on Groupon. Never received the restaurant.com e-gift cards because they were “wait listed” and we were told they would be sent to us. It’s been almost a week since our stay so we will see. Ask for an itemized statement of your stay and watch what you’re charged.

The room was spacious and clean. We had a good view of the front of the hotel from our room window. The location was excellent! We were next door to great restaurants and around the corner from prime shopping stores. Almost everything was walking distance.
I would have loved a room on a higher floor for better views. The guest service charge was very unnecessary and should've been a opt in/opt out option.

Definitely a good place to relax, which was my goal, simply to be in a different environment. The staff essentially stayed out of the way, while being available at the same time, which I enjoyed.
The area didn't have a lot of nearby shopping, which I only do on outings like this these days. But how much control do you have over stores?

I had issues with the non-recyclable attitude. Especially at the coffee extravaganza area.
Although the staff were very efficient, professional, and almost always busy, they weren’t very friendly .
The soda/water $50 a day thing left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. I think you would be better off just charging people more. Everyone was talking about it; people in the elevator, people in the lobby, guests from all over the world. Poor policy.

The view was great, the location was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the 6 free non alcoholic drinks per day hit the spot.
The bathroom was very small, the room had an old smell to it and the biggest thing was the $45 a day mandatory activity charge that they slid in which made the price of the room higher than what we wanted to spend.

No housekeeping; even though that’s why I get a hotel. If you are not going to have housekeeping then the price should go down.
The valet continued to keep my light on when she turned my car off after I told her I don’t automatically keep my lights on. It’s was annoying.

Good Hotel, the room was big and comnfortable. Good shower and bed. Hotel gave me a small gift with water and soda cans, it was thoughtful from their side.
Location is good as well, easy to access main streets of city downtown.
Despite the good room, there was a noise coming from the AC system on the wall, behind a metal door. This noise was loud and didn't stop, even when I turned the ac off. So, what I did was turning it off directly on the machine, hidden behind a metal door on the wall.
Internet wasn't fast in the room.

Room 1502. Lacks ventilation inside the room. The towels were dirty with something red (hopefully not blood from other person). The maid changed them with no problem, but still for the price of the hotel that should never happened.

I liked the location, and distance from local stores/restaurants.
I did not like that the hotel charged my card numerous times causing my bank to lock my card. It was without permission and the property has their information on booking.com as “Pay at Property.” Also during my booking there wasn’t anything that said there was a room deposit that would be held until after checkout. All of these details should be listed on each site the property allows bookings for their hotel.
