Great location! Nice pool
Getting the value of what you are paying - for the price you can’t complain much but it’s not the cleanest facility and there are definitely problems with the hotel and rooms that you wouldn’t find at a more upscale place.

Room was very clean; beds were nice and comfortable. Staff was amazing especially Oliver the owner. Pool area was perfect for sunbathing and swimming. They were close to the beach.
Rooms could be updated a bit but really there was nothing I disliked.

Fort Lauderdale On Sea - just north of Fort Lauderdale - great little spot with grocery, restaurants, and across the street from the beach. This little motel has all that you need, 2 beds, TV works and has channels of entertainment, powersupply with phone ports for phone and laptop, fridge, coffee machine and toaster in the room, towels clean, bathroom good, nice quiet clean pool with chairs n tables, there is also a grill out there, sunny n shade, front desk is well run they are very helpful and amenable, checkout is 11am but they have no problem with you staying by the pool or going beach, coming back, using their shower to be ready for airport at 5 etc. Management are just very nice people and very reasonable, they make your trip easy. WinnDixie big grocery, McD, DunkinD, inexpensive Italian and American restaurants within a 3 min walk.
for the price there is nothing to complain about. If you want to pay twice as much nearby you can.

It was such a beautiful location. Looked a lot better than I anticipated. The beach is on flamingo st about 5-10 minute walk. I loved the area there were so many stores and a supermarket within walking distance. I only stayed 3 days, my room was cleaned while I was away during the day which was nice. They also played some music with good vibes during the day in the pool area.
Unfortunately, our room was 103 right next to the laundry room and ice machine so it was kind of noisy in my room due to the sound of the ice box closing and washer/dryer, the cleaning crew was talking outside the door early in the morning but it wasn’t terrible just a little annoying due to my room location.

The pool is heated in December, it’s very pleasant. The room was correct but quite noisy at night with the passage of cars just in front of the hotel. We only stayed one night.

It could've been cleaner.
The sheets on the bed was dirty and so was the bathroom.

The manager, Oliver, was absolutely incredible! He was extremely accommodating for us. The property is cute, quaint, and quiet and like stepping back to simpler times.
The communication was not that great between some of the staff. There was confusion about room numbers but we got it figured out.

room and common spaces were clean, kids enjoyed the pool. Location is quite good: grocery stores, restaurants and fast food is in 10 minutes walk, beach is 5-10 minutes walk.
A little far if you want to visit Miami or other places in the south. The hotel is along the main street and we could hear the sounds of cars.

Staff only there a few hours during the day.
An alarm went off outside our door and it was earth shattering loud and no staff was there to help. Place was never cleaned while there. 5 day stay. Floors were ceramic and needed a mopping.

Some roaches on the room but it look like the city was infected, not just the hotel. We went to a fancy restaurant and they were big roaches on the bathroom, when asked they told us the city is infected. At the room I only saw 3 little ones coming out of sink, which maybe me believe is the city that has an issue

Room had cockroaches, Kitchen was very dirty and it was missing many accesories like pots, pans to ccok. Bathrooms was very dirty. after notifing owner about the cockroaches he came to put stuff to kill them but we kept on seeing them.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! They should charge by the hour as it is worse than many roadside motels that only charge $20/night. The owners obviously can't afford to fix or update the place and have just given up.
Here is a list of things wrong with it:
1. BUGS! - Roaches all over the place. In the sink, in the bath.. nasty!
2. NOTHING WORKS - Fan and Fan Light doesn't work and was dangling dangerously out of the ceiling tile like it was not installed properly, AC unit doesn't turn on and is so old that the buttons don't have any symbols on them.
3. NO OUTLETS - There are no outlets anywhere near the bed so you can't plug anything in. Even the old lamp next to the bed was just sitting there unplugged (?) There are only 3 other outlets in the entire suite and no extension cords.
4. DIRTY - This place hasn't had a good cleaning in YEARS. There was toilet paper in the toilet stuck to the side, candy on the floor and dirt and dust on everything. It looked like an abandoned house. Housecleaning must come annually instead of daily.
5. LOUD - The Entire front of the Suite was a thin Glass window. You can hear people talking outside all night and the cars revving at the light. You will get NO sleep here.
6. NO WINDOWS - Aside from the front Glass siding that doesn't open, there is only 1 tiny window in the bathroom that permits any air flow. Therefore, the musty, dirt odor of the place is very stagnant. If you have allergies of ANY type you will not be happy.

This hotel was not clean, had bugs and ants in the kitchen, maybe one or two kitchen utensils, no towels, refrigerator leaked water. Had to sleep with the kitchen light on to keep bugs away. The description of this hotels is farce. Packed up after the first night without any refund!
