I liked the kitchenette in the room. It allowed me to bring and prepare snacks and drinks. The little kitchen was well-equipped. The room was a great size.
There was not a suitcase stand. I had to put my suitcase on the floor to access the clothes while staying.

The only thing we liked was the location
What we didnt like: The pool being opened to the public, the wasnt that clean, we didnt see any remodeling, the breakfast and coffee were horrible, that we werent told we could to The Courtyard (the hotel that sits in front of this nasty hotel) to get Starbucks or their breakfast.

The staff are great. Having parking under the hotel out of the heat was great. Breakfast was very good. The view from our room was ocean view not full ocean views but close enough.
The room air-conditioning was far too cold couldn't get it right. Needs another chair in the room as sitting on the bed can get uncomfortable at times

Over 30 minutes to check in. The beach was several blocks away. Waterview, but quite a long walk to actual beach and across a busy street without a crosswalk.

The location…there is no cross walk to the beach…the nearest cross walk is a long walk along a busy road with fast moving traffic. The location is also in the flight path of a small airport.

The people were amazing and so friendly and helpful. Giovanni especially was so exceptional. I don't think we encountered one person that wasn't just great. Miranda and James were continually doing things for everyone, to make their stay better. Alex is such a hard worker and is always moving, taking care of everything, and making sure everyone has whatever they need. We enjoyed our stay very much.
In some places it was a little crowded, like the breakfast area and the closet in our room. Not a bad thing, but a little extra room would be helpful. But no complaints.

Availability and usually the staff and accommodation me but not so much this time.
Yes..the hotel is under construction and its difficult to get around the common areas. The rooms that we rented (2 rooms) were not thoroughly cleaned and very sloppy put together. Scraps for breakfast, everything was picked through, cold coffee.

The pool was amazing my husband and I loved it. The bar was amazing as well as the bartenders. The front desk staff was amazing with checking in and out and very helpful and nice about answering questions. We loved that they’re pet friendly and that they have an area for pets my pup had a blast.
They were doing maintenance on the floor we were on for people were walking in and out with materials. The house keepers weren’t very nice I asked a lady on our floor for some more toilet paper and lady acted like it was coming out of her paycheck….the breakfast young lady was not very nice as well. I’ve worked at a hotel for breakfast and it was by Marriott and they always told us food needs to keep coming out till it’s the end of breakfast. Doesn’t matter if it’s 5 minutes before closing and something runs out we needed to replace it and make sure the guests had breakfast. Young lady was serving plates for the front desk when there was barely anything out. I women asked her if she was going to be bring out more sausage and the young lady was like “yess! “ with a whole attitude and guess what the sausage never came out. And she had the woman waiting for nothing. That’s not the Marriott way. My manger back then would’ve had a talk to me.

Rooms were nice ans spacious. The staff was great, esp Melody. Pool was great had a little waterfall and a bar area. Covered chairs were great too.
Rooms were a tad worn down, chipped paint on cabinets, outdated dishwasher, etc. Seems they get heavy traffic. But overall good. The only real complaint we had was the pet walking area... grass was very tall, they finally cut it the last day we were there but it was a mosquito haven. We only walked about 15ft from the sidewalk into the grass since the bugs were so incredibly bad. Look down and have I kid not, 20-30 mosquitos on our legs and arms. So many bites, they did put down something on the ground that smelled like garlic or onions that was SUPER strong smelling that kept them away for a day or two, so that was helpful but it didnt last long. Fire ants also horrible. I'm highly allergic and came home with swollen bites all over my ankles. They were doing construction during our stay, tearing up and replacing the tile in the main lobby areas, which was eh, understandable but kinda an inconvenience. Overall good stay though.

I liked the cost as well as amenities. The pool and bar was amazing. I loved being so close to the beach. I also loved being able to charge things directly to the room so I didn't have to worry about bringing my wallet everytime. Staff was super helpful and friendly and hotel was very clean.
