Cable down on day 3 and was still not back on at check-out next a.m.. Spoke with Manager about how hotel plans to compensate guests. Manager said, (paraphrasing), we're not doing anything b/c it's on Direct TV. Laquinta's now off my list of hotel stays.

TV didnt work til the second night. The bolt on the door didnt work. Breakfast the 2nd day didnt have much to chose from. 4:00 in the morning the the smoke alarm went off and then a blue strobe light went off every 30 seconds until we checked out.

Good location, food. Not very many electric outlets near the bed for phones, etc.

The night clerk told us by phone to look for the RED VAN to shuttle to the hotel from Hobby Airport at 9:00 pm. We called three times and waited an hour and a half for a red shuttle. Finally after 3-4 passes a white shuttle asked us where we were going. It was a Best Western van. Turns out THIS was the red van. This guy at the hotel didnt bother to make sure which van was on duty and left us and others waiting for 1.5 hrs in the cold at the airport.

Excellent Early Checkin! Very nice staff. So close to Hobby airport literally next door. Behind other hotels which was about confusing for ride shares. Comfy bed and large working desk with good WiFi. Did not use pool or eat breakfast due to early flight. Recommend for quick overnight stay.

Small pillows. Some pet smell that was addressed by housekeeping.

Location is perfect for flying in and out of Houston From Hobby airport. The fire alarm went off at 5 AM and the staff did an incredible job of keeping everyone informed once people discovered it was an actual potential fire situation.

In the fire alarm situation, it was a customer smoking in their room. Obviously, I did not care for this. The staff truly did exceptional job making sure grumpy evacuated customers were informed and kept comfortable.

Only 5 min from Hobby Airport. The room and bed were comfortable. Cleanliness standard but it passes. Overall a good stay.

A bit of an attitude by the front desk staff during check-in. I made a mistake inputting my CC date of expiration on Booking.com, to which the person at the front desk reacted as if that was a major issue. The payment was taken by using another card to make it easier and to avoid more problems with the person at check-in. The hotel said that Booking.com is only for the booking of the room but that the payment is collected by the hotel. Apparently, this is the reason why the person at the front desk seemed to be worked up by my mistake on the expiration date in the CC. The shuttle service only starts at 5am, which didn't work for me because my flight departed at that same time.

We only stayed in the room and it was nice and comfortable and spacious. We didn't go down for breakfast either day but our family did and they enjoyed it. The pool was open so that was a bonus. The staff was great from front desk helping with my reservation before arriving to checking in all the way to the housekeepers. The 12 check out was great.

Our entire family was on the 2nd floor and all weekend whomever was on the 3rd floor was annoying. They must have had kids with them because it sounded like a playground up there. It was very disturbing and loud even late hours of the night. We wanted to ask for another room the 1st night but all of our family was staying there and they were full.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Valencia at the front desk was ABSOLUTELY amazing and very accommodating. I had a little hiccup with my stay on the first night (she knows what i,m talking about..lol) but she made sure that I was good. She also gave me recommendations of where to go in Houston.. The rest of the hotel staff was very nice and friendly..breakfast was great.. Location was great as well, I was within 10-20 mins away from everything.most def would stay again.

We rested well in preparation for our cruise from Galveston. The location was great, near the parking facility for the airport, and we were able to meet our shuttle to the cruise port in Galveston. The cost for the accommodation was very reasonable.

The trash in my room was not taken out. It was half cleaned. The ac didnt work it was very clammy. When being checked in the lady was nice but the morning before check out other guest were knocking on our door saying it was their room front desk called twice asking us how where we in that room it was the only room we stayed in. Apparently she gave us a key to one room and put a different room in the system. It was a horrible experience never staying again
