I stayed at this Cambria Hotel this weekend and had a great experience. The location is good, easy to access local attractions and amenities, a few blocks from Times Square.
The bed and pillows were comfortable. The free Wifi is good. Now the bathrooms are small, but how long are you really in there.
The staff were great! Everyone we met was pleasant, nice, helpful, and accommodating. Bravo for their excellent service! Cambria Hotel offers good quality for the price.

The room was clean, nice view from the big windows, confortable beds (the sofa, where my son slept not too much) and a good atmosphere. Practical the long table near the wall, opposite to the king bed, and the fridge is always a must to have some cold water when it's so hot. I like very much the neighborhood, Chelsea, strategic for the area of NY we wanted to explore in these days.
The room is quit small, with the lagguage, the space is limited. Here we do not have breakfast, and of course we know, but in comparisons to other place, nothing special to be a 4 stars hotel. Coffee, for example, in the reception only from 6 am and not avaible in the afternoon or evening (in an another hotel it was 24 hrs). I reserve for 3 and when we arrived the bed for my son was not ready. I had to inform at the desk, the staff not so kind

Convenient to Monahan station.
Room had no air when we arrived and the headboard were especially dirty. The corridors had no air and felt like a sauna. You have to request cleaning the day before you actually want it done, which we did and no one came. When they did, we were already back to our room. The cleaning manager was rude, telling us the time they have their cleaners work till as if I would know their schedule. We were gone for approximately 6 hours and only came back because I injured my leg. Overall, while some of the staff were nice I would not recommend this hotel for families.

Subways- red (1 block) and green (3 blocks) lines. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. Flower district (you can walk and see lots of fresh plants and flowers every morning). Mcdonald is 2 blocks away and Cafe next to the hotel.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, decent sized bedroom with all the basic amenities, rooftop bar and restaurant, gym, breakfast room and dehors for eating your own food or simply chatting.
I had booked for three guests, two adults and a 17-yo. When arriving at the hotel we were rather shocked to discover that there was no third bed and the "child" (180cm tall) was supposed to sleep with us in the double bed, rather than in the sofa we could see in the pictures. The real pity is that the sofa in the room is nearly the size of a single bed, and plenty of space for a slightly bigger sofa, that would make a standard 80-90 x 190-200 cm single bed. Eventually, we got some extra sheets and "made up" the sofa, which is where one of us spent our six nights in NYC. We managed, but thought it was a pity to have to sleep somewhat crouched when it would only take only very little to put an actual single bed. Or maybe there's no such thing as single beds in the US...

Hotel has introduced room service every day, which is a huge improvement. Room size is great.
Staff on reception are so helpful and kind, it's one of the reasons why I keep going back. It's location is perfect for both Uptown and Downtown. See you next year!
The only thing is the door on the bathroom. It's so heavy and takes up so much space! It might be better when refurbishing rooms to hang a concertina door, or something more space saving.

Location is great and the room is a good fit if you just need somewhere to sleep. It was great for the level of hotel that it is and suited us well for our week of exploring the city.
Some of the soundproofing wasn't great but it didn't keep us awake. Had to ask to have the sheets changed the first night because they weren't clean, but they were great after that.

Room exceeded our expectations it was bigger than we thought it would be. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The AC was very effective at keeping the room cool. Shower room very modern and the shower was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Location was super convenient with metro line stations for different lines at the end of the street. Can get to all the main locations in Manhattan within 20 minutes. Walking distance to Penn Station which has connections to JFK. There is a McDonalds 2 minutes from the hotel.
Although the AC was very effective it would occasionally get very noisy for about 10 seconds.
Although the shower room was modern and functional it was bit small you had to back up quite far to open the door when exiting.

The location and the cleanliness
The service at reception was unfortunate. They made several incorrect charges on my credit card, and although they were eventually reversed, I was given three different explanations. They were never polite. When I left the hotel, with some of those charges still appearing on my card, I sent them two emails to which they never responded.
