Everything is very old, the bedspreads are snagged, the curtains should have been thrown away a long time ago... the air conditioners probably haven't been cleaned ever, they're full of dirt! The management really needs to review everything and do some renovations!

Had to change rooms twice at arrival. Finally spoke with the manager and was given a good room. On New Year's Day both elevators were out of service (2am). Had to walk up the stairs to the 21st floor.

The hotels in some serious need of updates/repairs; our room had faulty outlets, the ice machine was broken on the third floor, the walls were peeling in the bathroom, in the trash cans were extremely small to the point where trash was overflowing on a regular basis.

Great location, with subway entrances very close and only 15’ walking to Times Square and to The Empiee State.
The bedroom was spacious and the bed big and very comfortable.
The staff was very helpful and polite, they let us do a late check out without any problem which was a great help!
There were no radiators but a hot air machine in the bedroom that was very noisy and old. Also, the curtain could not go up so we didn’t have natural light in all our stay.
The system of the breakfast was awkward. It is “included” in the price but they bring you a bill at the table every morning where you have to leave a voucher and a tip. Alma the waitress was lovely but if the breakfast is included in the price, it feels very strange.
The breakfast was very basic, nothing hot (eggs, bacon, sausages…) only bread, cakes and fruit. They don’t have a single dairy-free option which made it difficult for me with an intolerance; if you wanted anything hot you had to pay for it (minimum 20$). I would point out the breakfast is the weakest thing they have.

I must confess you that the property had a horrible possibility of Air Condition usage. The machine was making a terrible noise, the blinds through which the air escaped were fixed and no direction of the air was able to be changed. I used to make an awkward cold each time it started its work, most of the time I preferred to be in a quite cold room instead of having a permanent noise. I complained several times and in the end one of the older managers agreed to make me a discount of 25%. On Check Out, December 21st, I paid 25% off, so my receipt and paid according to receipt shows a value of 1309.10 $ . While checking my credit card account, I noticed that they retrieved, illegally of course the whole amount of money, over 1700$ (320*5+taxes). Coming home, I contacted the hotel and received the address of Ms. Lisa C. with whom I talked by phone on December 29, while she wrote me on email, she would review my stuff concerning the illegal retrieval of money they did. Today , January 7, I haven't received any answer from Ms. L.C. (on purpose I don't give her real name) and definitely I don't like that. It looks like they cheated me concerning the discount, and took more money in an illegal way, I have my receipt of 1309.10$, they shouldn't have taken 1 cent more than that.

The hotel was ok, with good location and mostly helpful staff.
We were overcharged, with issue reported to booking.com, after a week no solution was made. After initial overcharge, they charged my card again for another $400, I really wonder what their reception and finance teams are doing, this is an absolute mess. Never happened to us before with booking or hilton.

The room was spacious and I was assigned a double room with two queen beds, even though I stayed only one night. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave were available, which is very convenient, especially in New York. The room temperature itself was comfortable.
The heating unit was very loud while blowing hot air. I had to turn it off during the night because the noise made it difficult to sleep.
The bathroom was clearly worn out: the toilet seat was extremely used and outdated, and the bathtub with shower felt old-fashioned, almost like being in an old private apartment rather than a hotel. The bathroom had no ventilation fan, despite being windowless. The shampoo dispenser was nearly empty and after a couple of pumps the product barely came out.
There was a TV in the room, but the remote control did not work properly. Moreover, it is quite disappointing that in 2026 a hotel of this category still does not offer Smart TVs, limiting guests to basic channels such as news or random sports programs.

The place is amazing you have a metro stop only a block away. It’s really easy to go to and from there from pretty much anywhere. It was clean, heating was really good.
Beds are a little bit uncomfortable but I know that it just might have been something related to my room.

No bar, breakfast isnt included as its only some juice and pastries, and you are asked for a tip before u even sit down. Breakfast choices were quite minimal. We booked a high floor room with a king size bed and single bed, with breakfast included however we got a room on 9th floor with no view at all, couldnt even get the blind to stay up to see out anyway. We just got a king size bed which was fine but not what we were expecting. Overall it was fine.

The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was comfortable. Since I was visiting to see Broadway shows, the location was very convenient to Times Square--just a 20 minute walk.
The hotel only has 2 elevators and one was broken on my last 2 days of my stay. This made the checkout process difficult on Sunday as many families were trying to leave and the cleaning crew were using the same elevator. It took at least 10 minutes to get downstairs.

Amazing location, a few blocks away of main attractions in NY, a lot of metro stations nearby and pretty nice neighborhood. There's a lot to do and a few nice places to eat.
If your looking for a quiet and restfull place, this is not it; the AC is terribly loud, there's a lot of neighborhood noice that filtrates through the windows (think is typical from NY, but never this bad), you can hear the other rooms when they arrive and leave. For the price this is unacceptable, not great if you want to sleep well; is extremely outdated; a lot of the towels/bed clothes are extremely used and stained; there was some issues with an elevator when we arrived, which was a little hassel because there's 27 floors; the night clerk wasn't sooo nice (which felt personal, because she treated the guy before us amazing) but the day front desk was pretty great. Other than that, it was an "okeyish" stay.

Conveniently located to several nearby subway stations inc 23rd, 28th (literally at the end of the street) and 34th street stations. Less than 10 min walk to LIRR at Penn Station which connects to Newark Airport. McDonalds, pizza, tacos and 7/11 at end of the street. Less than 20 mins on foot to Times Square/5th Avenue/Bryant Park and much more. Spacious room for family of 4. Decent coffee pods/machine in room...refilled daily. Microwave and fridge were a bonus. Clean, fluffy towels and plenty toiletries provided. No noise from neighbouring rooms or from hallway/lifts which were just outside our room. We utilised luggage storage service on check out which was handy. Suggested check out time was 12 noon which is later than most hotels.
We did notice a draft from the window however it didnt bother us as the warm air heating kept us cosy. We did experience noise from outside (we were on 11th floor) but I utilised ear plugs which helped. Bed sheets/duvet very thin but again we weren't cold as the heating kicked in.

Rooms are good! Comfy, at the end when you go to NYC, you just need a good bed to sleep on, also the room had fridge and microwave!
Our flight from Costa Rica departed at 10PM and arrived to NYC at 7AM we were mentally prepared to get in bed at 3PM (the official check-in) but they offered us an early room for just $50 we were so happy! We needed it!

The location of the hotel is almost ideal. Very close to metro 1, quite close to a few other lines, about 500 meters from Penn Station. Seriously, difficult to beat in terms of communication. The surroundings seem quite safe, so basically all you need. The room was fine - not a huge one but sufficient. The beds were big and comfortable. The reception worked as it should, we paid the price exactly as displayed on booking.com. No surprises. No deposits.
The breakfast is crap. It the "breakfast included" option you get the following: bread, philadelphia-type cheese, peanut butter, jam, milk, yoghurt, some fruit (typically pineapple, papaya, banana and apples which taste like paper) plus something to drink. Not a trace of eggs, cheese (except for the aforementioned philadelphia-type one), meat. Yes, you may order scrambled eggs and so on - but that is an extra service and the prices are not encouraging. What is most annoying of all is that the employees insist on getting tips - let me remind you, this is a self-service buffet (well, they do bring you tea/coffee) included in the room rate. All in all, after a few days they stopped offering us drinks as we did not leave tips (you are permanently reminded to leave them, they even provide a bill to show the value of the breakfast and add a paper with calculation how much is 20% of it - so that you would know how much tip you should leave). The cleaning also did not take place every day, that however was due to the snowstorm which took place and I trust that many employees could not make it. Thus they were short of stuff - and I got it, so just mention, however understand.
