Great location close to everything. We were able to walk to all the attractions we were interested in. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom clean with high quality products, shower powerful and good mirrors. Staff attentive, friendly and professional. Breakfast was included which was a pleasant experience.

The staff. So warm and helpful. It felt like old school Hospitality which seems to be a rare thing over the past few years.

I wish the hotel bar/restaurant felt More accessible to the hotel less like a separate space. Hard to get up and down stairs with a stroller and felt Like we were interrupting a restaurant rather than running down to a hotel lobby for a drink.

Unfortunately, the service and room experience did not meet expectations for a hotel charging £750 per night. At check-in, the staff member was dismissive. When I asked a question and he couldn’t hear me, he responded with “huh?”, which is not an appropriate way to address a guest. Room service closed at 10:30pm, so I ordered pizza via Uber Eats. When I came down to collect it, the food had been left unattended in the lobby, visible and accessible to anyone, rather than being stored securely. At checkout, the same staff member printed my bill and placed it on his keyboard, then stared at me without saying anything. I commented that I was unsure if I had done something to cause the manner in which I was being treated, and received only a blank stare in response. I then had to pick the bill up myself. The room itself had several practical issues: • The bathroom door opens in two sections, but only one side stays open while the other does not • Bedside tables have no drawers • Extremely limited clothing storage for two people For the price point, these details matter. The only clear positive is the excellent location. Otherwise, for £750 per night for three nights in a “Luxury City View King,” I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Hotel is amazing after renovation. Far above current score on booking.com. Staff is really friendly from janitor to room cleaners. Beds and pillows are super comfortable, extra clean rooms and bathrooms as whole hotel. Arian especially and whole breakfast staff were super nice to us. Far above expectations. We will definitely come back. Our favorite place in NY from now on.

The hotel is undergoing a renovation so many of the amenities were not available. The room was clean although it had not yet been renovated.

Lack of touch points with staff, no one provided us with insight on our "Urban Experience Fee" of $45 per night plus tax. This fee includes a $25 daily food and beverage credit, premium WiFi, a reusable water bottle, 24-hour fitness studio access, a 15% Bloomingdale's discount, and local/domestic calls. We had to go online to figure it out. Also we never received our water bottle. They don’t offer complimentary water in the room everything is for a fee. Ordering room service comes with the automatic 20%. There are a lot of fees and little is offered for the price point of this hotel. I’ve found that with higher price point hotels we are often provided more for our money. Also I am not sure they change the bedding often and we know this is a pet friendly hotel because our pillows smelled like dog.

I literally loveddddd my hotel, I had the King Bed room it was clean, nice amounts of storage room, I had a shower & a bathtub. The housekeeping was on it with the cleaning. All of the staff was so sweet and went the extra mile if I needed anything. I will revisit here again!

Nothing as a woman manager - who runs the hotel and is in charge of the hotel needs to be sacked as she is doing fraud. She is constantly refusing guests even when booked via booking.com - stay away as she just cancels the bookings, and then tells you to book again direct via the Sofitel NY website. She ushers her staff to a room who firstly won’t be aligned to do this but then return to front desk and continue to push her illegal stance.

The Female Manager in charge of the front desk - of the Sofitel NY is running a black market enterprise by canceling bookings - even though they are booked via bookings.com - canceling them and then telling you to rebook via the NY website. What happens when she cancels and the website says it’s fully booked and you’ve flown round the world for this. Don’t book at the Sofitel NY. We experienced this and found out she has done this to others. She needs to be investigated and we had to go to another hotel - even though we booked with bookings.com a week before.

Location, right between 5 and 6 avenues, close to the Theatre district with many dining options around. Perfect views from the room, the hotel is just after renovation.

The staff is somewhat uninterested in what is going on. Everyone is polite but are not seem to be interested in helping the guest unless asked for. Room cleaning is ok, however nothing except the towels was replaced during the stay - no paper cups (!) for coffee, no Nespresso capsules, no drinks in the minibar, no bathrobes left on the floor to be changed. Every morning had to call the housekeeping and wait for 15-20 minutes for all those basic things.
