The wifi didn’t work for our entire week long stay. Water and ice machines didn’t work about 90% of the times we tried to use them. No body wash in the room and we had to ask for conditioner.

It had black mold in the bathroom along tile at the top and on the ceiling, marks all over the walls from other guests, and the drawers wouldn’t stay shut in the room they kept rolling out. The furniture was also very scuffed up and old looking and beat up. Looked cheap like it wasn’t gonna hold up much longer. Also no one ever answered the phones

It was in Times Square.
The WiFi did not consistently work. Upon arrival, the room had no air circulation until we turned the air conditioner on. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling. There were bugs in the shower! The furniture was in very poor condition. There was no slot for charging phones. The hallways were dirty. The cleaning staff was nice but inefficient, and the reception staff was indifferent to asks for improvement. The room was extremely small as compared to the photos online.

We loved the location, the friendly staff, the separated room so my daughter and I had a little privacy, the room size, the cleanliness of the room, and it was reasonably quiet on the 14th floor. The water pressure was great and hot water aplenty.
Really, there isn't much here to dislike. My lower score is only because I think some of the things that don't bother me at all might bother others. Its definitely an older hotel with worn hallway carpet. The a/c is a window unit and it was working it's little heart out. But in fairness, my menopausal ass would have challenged any a/c unit. Lol! The elevators worked great for me. I read that it could have gone either way. We never waited more than 5 minutes for the elevator and that is for a 14th floor room.

Only the location.
Our first night there’s absolutely no electricity in the whole entire room. It was wicked hot with no ac, the tv didn’t work, no coffee maker, and none of the outlets worked so we couldn’t charge our phones all night. Our phones were dead for hours after driving hours to get to New York. Then we told the staff and the refused to give us another room til the next day. Then said we would get a refund that I’ve never received.

It was very close to several different venues for plays as well as very close to Times Square.
The hotel looked extremely run down and unkempt. Paint was peeling all over the hotel, the bathroom exhaust fan did not work, the bathroom doors top hinge was not on properly which meant you could not close the door properly without having to lift the door. The door to enter the room made a horrible scraping noise. Overall the cost we paid for the room was very overpriced and not worth the stay.

The property is undergoing renovation and so out room had heaters where the controls were not working so we had to call for maintenance to come help shut them off. Also the phone in our room was not working so we couldn’t call down for assistance we had to keep going down if we wanted something. One of the elevators were always not working.

Definitely not what they marketed, problems with the elevators need to be addressed ASAP, our elevator door literally BROKE on the 14th floor that gave my wife a panic attack, we had to take the stairs down from the 14th down, lobby is not appealing at all just a bunch of suitcases everywhere and a huge leak in the lobby. The rooms were smaller than predicted in the pictures even though I ordered the King Deluxe. All the Ice machines were not working in any floor at all. Literally the only pro on this hotel is the location,definitely not worth the $1k stay.

I am amazed that anyone that stays here can give it an good grade - The place is old, worn out and dirty...The in room heating system didn't work so they had one of those $80 plug in space heaters in the room...We have purposely stayed in different hotels in the city (we travel in half a dozen times a year) to get a perspective of what good and what's not and this was one of the worst - You are better staying in the stable with the Central Park Horses then this place

The bed and the pillows were very comfortable and that's about it. I booked through booking.com because I tried to contact the hotel 4 times for a reservation but no one would answer the phone.
The heating unit was just placed there. No hairdryer till we asked. the TV remote only partially worked. Both night stand lights were held in place by screws so when you turned it on the whole fixture fell. The bathroom fan didn't work and it only had one shower door. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were working and took forever.

To make it worse they have the most annoying and lying staff at the reception. This place does not even deserve to be in the rating at all. There was not one thing that was positive about this stay.
The bathroom was so small you had to stratal the toilet to use it. The sink had hair in it, the desk chair looked like someone just got done eating, and the wall where the heater is looked like it caught fire and they just tore out the old unit and put a new one in. The wall still had burn marks on it. All the carpet was stained and the tile floors were cracked. The elevators only fit 3-4 people if you are lucky, and the doors didn’t close all the way and they shook when riding.

The room was good. Just needs some updating around the ac/heater. It had some pieces exposed and if someone had a kid it could be a problem. I also seen some staining on the wall - maybe a new wallpaper or some paint would be helpful. And I didn’t love the shower design. Water got all over the floor and toilet when I showered. Maybe add a sliding door or curtain - overall though we loved the hotel though.

The location is great, close to Times Square and the lobby is very inviting. Check in was a breeze. The staff was very nice, despite dealing with what seems like many complaints. We loved that they had the queen bed and the set of bunk beds, the setup worked well for our family.
All 4 ice makers were down and not working. The street noise is insane and could be helped by sound dampening curtains instead of blinds. They are renovating and had just replaced the old radiators in every room, but hadn't finished the work so there was piping exposed and large holes in the wall. The light switch in our room was pushed in and unsafe. The ceiling in the shower leaked water from the shower above, which is gross. If they continue to renovate and fix the issues, this would be a great hotel. They were fully booked, but due to the conditions of our room we had to leave and stay elsewhere.

Our room was smaller than advertised; which isn’t a big deal because it is NYC but our towels had stains on them when we checked the bathroom. We were also woken up at 8am by housekeeping trying to come in our room to let us know we checked out at 11am. Had I not jumped out of bed they would’ve been in our room. It seemed like it wasn’t just our room too but every room on our floor. The floor in our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned? There was mystery red stains next to our bed.

Nothing they ripped me off my money, I the hotel don't have anything and the room is dirty and old no microwave in the room no microwave in the whole inside of the hotel at all no refrigerator to put anything or our food , they purposely turn off they phone so no one can get to them on their front desk, we forgot our ATM card and clothes with other valuable items . I was charged $150 at the front desk that I will get it back on my check out till on the day of check out they told me I will get it on my account i am yet to get back the money till this day I try calling them to ask for my money and also see if I can be able to get them items I forgot they line is not connecting still .. save your money worst hotel its like a kitchen size after we spend almost $1450 for just 3 days we out there and this the type of hotel they have and also did to us because they know we are not in that state

We paid over $300 for ONE NIGHT
the security latch was busted off the door like it had been kicked in which stopped the door from shutting and locking properly.
The phone in the room DID NOT WORK

the WiFi for the WHOLE BUILDING DID NOT WORK
we WERE NOT made aware of this before check in.
The shower in the room had mold all In it, there was no blankets on the beds.
NEITHER of the air conditioners in the room we stayed in worked.
The first two hours of our stay was taken up by maintenance coming in and out of the room to fix the air conditioners.
The night manager was the most respectable person in that place.
I went to speak to the general manager ROB in the morning and he was the most rude, unkind person ever and told us to contact booking.com. When I told him that I MANAGE A hotel in Pennsylvania and it is AGAINST the law to put ANYONE in a room without a working phone and working security latch he told me not to threaten him and I wasn’t... I was stating a honest fact.
I have two babies that were in this room with us that are under 5 and I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable it’s not even funny.

Great location to be able to walk to meetings. Also, a lot of great restaurant choices from NY pizza to high-end steak, and a great Italian restaurant right across the street.
Had to go back and forth, up and down the elevator a couple of times because the key didn't work to the room when checking in. Also, the free wifi was not very good, had to use my hotspot.

Location was excellent!! Easy walk to theaters, parking, restaurants, etc. Room was small, but comfortable. Front desk people were super friendly and welcoming.
Elevators are slow and don't stop at every floor. They should either be bigger or add more of them.
Bathroom smelled musty and there was a lot of black mold in the shower grout, especially around the bottom tiles. Pro tip - stand on a hand towel in the shower.
It's impossible to call the hotel directly. I got some messages from booking.com & wanted to verify my reservation with the hotel, but the call goes to voicemail & then disconnects.

Everything was ok except the elevator. It was very slow but thank God we were staying on 4th floor so we took stairs most of the time. And I also thank one of the receptionist who welcomed us and managed to change our room from the 15th floor to 4th floor without any issues. Thank you everyone.
Fix the dam elevators please. And and also get water ans ice on all the floors. We had to go to 7th floor every time we needed ice and water.

It was convenient to where I had to be for work.
Elevators are way too slow, carpets ripping, no ‘do not disturb’ signs to put on door, bedding was cozy - but also noticed a stain on it in the morning, no shower curtain.

The location
The room hvac unit was under repair and the room temperature kept changing, the wall wasn’t patched up. The bathroom walls had mold. The phone didn’t work. The water took a while to get got in the shower. The ice machine rarely worked.
The website says breakfast available but the restaurant is closed. The bathroom door sticks. The ADA button at the entrance doesn’t work.

Needed a room last minute since I couldn’t get early check in at my hotel down the street and had to get ready for work. This was around the corner.
The thermostat didn’t work so the tiny shoebox of a room was hot and stuffy and muggy. I called down the front desk and nobody ever came to help me out with the situation. Glad they got me in when in a pinch. Will never return again.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, very close to Times Square and within walking distance of the 49th Street and 50th Street subway stations, making it very easy to reach everywhere.
The room was clean, but that’s where the positives end. The bed was very uncomfortable (Room 1418, 14th floor). Many times, there was no hot water. I complained 2–3 times, and only once an engineer came, but the problem was never fixed. After that, we stopped complaining because nothing changed.
There is no room service. The reception phone in the room was not working, so every time we needed something, we had to go down from the 14th floor to the reception very inconvenient.
The staff is not cooperative and not friendly at all. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. When I requested a short extension, they asked for $25 per hour, which is unreasonable. We checked out early and asked them to keep our luggage, and they even charged $3 per bag — seriously?

The only good thing was the location
Was very rundown outlets did not work. The electrical box look very dangerous. I tried to open the window up a little bit, and it almost fell on me. The USB port did not work holes in the wall very unhappy with my stay.

We liked the location very accessible to every places, walking distance and easy to subway. And easy check in. Family room is great small but it gives us bond together.
The door is kind a open but it's ok it's manageable. The bathroom shower faucet is making noise and vibrating when you turn it on and the handle is broken, the water flow is kind a slow so it filed up first. No microwave to reheat the food especially when you it's very cold, the food get easy to get cold need to reheat atleast but no microwave. Also online it says free breakfast but front desk said that was wrong they don't offer breakfast.

The Hotel was in general nice, location was fantastic, staff and cleanliness was good
Th room we stayed in was of poor standard, damage to wall, cleanliness was poor and the room was poorly decorated, patches on the ceiling not painted, holes in the walls from air con units pipework, blinds and window fixtures damaged, not fitted or working correctly, air con noisy and rattling
