Location was good for my needs and the staff was really friendly and helpful.
The room and upper floors seemed a bit dated and disappointing considering the cost. The blanket I was using had a stain on it and the furniture in the room was worn, and needed to be replaced.

The staff was extremely accommodating, and friendly, the valet personnel was super customer service-oriented. The location was next to a few places that were opened late if you had a late-night craving. The room itself with the view of the bay is highly recommended. Nice views directly over Pier 39, the Ferris wheel, and Alcatraz if you're into that kind of thing!
There's not much I didn't like. They only had valet parking services which was 85 dollars a night so be prepared for that! The cafe hours are limited so food at the actual hotel is very limited. Other than that, I'd stay here every where when I go back to SF.

The lobby is gorgeous with all kinds of amazing artwork and 2 huge fire places
The location was great. Easy to walk around or get to public transportation and cable cars
Timothy had he bellman was wonderful friendly and helpful. He gave us great tips on off the beaten path places to visit like sales force park
The concierge service was great especially the lady with glasses and grey hair pull back in a French braid
It would’ve been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit in in more lighting

Location, easy to find coffee shop for breakfast. Walking distance to many malls. Literally next to Apple Store and 2 min walking to get to the hop on off bus stop.
We requested and paid for more for the city view but not really a nice part of the view. Restaurant and bar were very basic. It’s better to get breakfast outside.

We found the location very central to all places heading out for Day trips as well as inside SF. It was next door to Union Square and walking distance to the Tram station. We walked to various Breakfast places nearby. It was a very short drive to the main highway of the Premium Outlet Mall at Livermore. Their restaurant seemed a little dull for dinner. The flatbread was amazing but we wanted to see people we stepped out a lot for meals

Only at the point of checking in, we were greeted by a friendly staff.
- staff were polite but would not smile
- power sockets were loose; we had to go to the reception to collect our water and in one occasion the staff had been reluctant to give us 3 water even though there were 3 of us; the ventilation outlet inside the room has been designed at the wrong position.
- At the check in, my family name had not been correctly taken, and therefore, I wasn't able to connect to the WiFi. The staff would not apologise for the mistake they made. They still addressed me the wrong name at the checkout.

Myself and kimmy (jindo gae) stay at grand Hyatt often on business trips . Service and facilities always excellent. Upone restaurant good selection of food and drinks. The breakfast buffet ample selection of healthy options. Highly recommend.
My only suggestion is lower price on parking. At nearly $100 per night this is unreasonable considering the average parking garage fee in the area about $50 per day.

I give 5 stars for location, but cleaning had some issues, when we keep a sign Do not disturb then later cleaners would not come to clean it even after calling a concierge. It was a bit annoying. As well they are not flexible maintaining relationship with a customer. We wanted to add a night from a colleague who left early and they said no… I would expect better service as well. Low professiknalism.

Everything about this hotel was GREAT !!! I love the foot light that comes on automatically when you get out of bed. I need that at home. The restaurants were good. ( The Breakfast Buffet was a bit pricey but you get a discount if you are staying there. ) I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again. Oh yeah, one more thing, the shower was AWESOME !!!
