Unique hotel. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious. Loved the shower- very spacious, water was always warm. Mainetenance staff was very good.
There was construction. Slightly noisy but not past 5pm. Fitness center was closed for renovations- but we were given accomodations to go 24 hour fitness located a few blocks from the hotel.

Location was amazing, quick walk to Union Square. Reasonable priced compared to all the other hotels in the area. There was always an Uber or Lyft driver minutes away. They are in the process of adding a caf in the lobby which is even better.
Some of the rooms were a bit tight, as the door to the entrance, bathroom and closet were very close together. We had a corner room which was larger than our friends, and the layout was different so we didn't have that problem.

There was only two employees who were decent to me and everyone else was miserable visibly and attude had to pay $50.00 dollars a night for parking and had to wait to get my car for almost 45 mins each time to get my car which made me late to everything
All the hidden fees that were not discussed on the booking I would never stay here again

It was your average San Fansico boutique hotel, I would probably try an other hotel next time staying in San Fransico not because this one was bad but because there are so many more.
The morning of check out they ran out of water, and that was very frustrating they had no solution just that they were working on it. It was very frustrating. I felt as if I should have been at least partially comped for parking or something.

First floor rooms are too open to the lobby so make sure to get a room above the first floor due to lobby noise. No AC but you don't need it as long as you open the window and run the ceiling fan. Fitness room should open at 6:00 instead of 7:00 am.

My friends favourite film is vertigo so I booked this hotel for her 30th birthday. She absolutely loved it. I booked a room here as well and I can say that I too really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Would recommend.

The location was very good and I was able to walk every place that I needed to be. The maid service was very good. Every morning when I returned from my run, my room had already been made up.
There is only one very slow elavator. Because my room was only on the fourth floor, I always took the stairs. I did however often see people waiting in the lobby for the elavator.

Decor was lovely - fashionable and unique. Lots of character. Quiet location and centralized. Nice & plentiful outlets in the room. Loved it. We found street parking nearby so that wound up being inexpensive (not sure if this street availability was due to it being Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). If you want to see the cool Vertigo stairway effect, we recommend staying on the fourth floor (or higher).

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us, as we could walk to our conference and other sightseeing areas. It was great to have Trader Joes so close as well.
I wish that it mentioned a hairdryer was provided so I didn't need to bring my own. I wasn't able to find this information on the website. A very minor problem.

Everything else was GREAT. Manager was courteous, and I really REALLY appreciate there hospitality. Thank you so much for your stay. I loved my stay, even though it was unexpectedly cut short. And thanks so much for waiving a fee for me. You have no idea how sorry I am for any disruptions or discouragement that a guest of mine may have caused to your hotel and or staff. Thanks so much. The combination of location and facilities was just perfect. Very very clean and well organised hotel. Bathroom was great with great shower.
I guess the only thing I could say was although it was very stylish it probably was at the top of its game on the early 2000s and maybe a few small style upgrades will bring back the wow factor other than that cant fault it.
