Large clean rooms, well equipped to make your own meals. Super friendly and helpful staff. Right on the cable car route, there is a stop in front of the door. Only a couple of blocks from the fisherman’s wharf, a few blocks from Lombard St. Could not be better located. Great rooftop patio with a view of Alcatraz. Photos are from the rooftop.
The inner courtyard could be updated, if they pulled up the carpet and opened the roof it would be very beautiful. Did not affect our stay, just a suggestion.

Kitchen was very clean. We're very thorough when it comes to cleanliness and were positively impressed. There's a lot of appliances and they all worked well.
We made a mistake in our research apparently, and we insisted that according to booking certain commodities were included in our stay. The manager, Christopher, was very polite aiding us as best as he could, explaining how we might have misunderstood.

It is good hotel at a good location . The rooms are comfortable size . Please note the rooms don’t have AC it’s just heater or fan . Bathrooms could have been better size . The property is in a great location, you can walk to the main attractions in the city, the elevator is not working due to renovations but we knew about it in advance and the staff offered help with luggage. Great view from the upper terrace, parking is tight but safe.
The living room is on the street side so it is quite noisy, the bedroom is on the inside of the building so it is quiet and pleasant

Spacious apartment with all amenities needed for a family of four. The staff was very helpful and supported whenever needed. We received coffee and dishwasher tabs as needed. We were in the second floor and could see the ocean from the balcony - definitely a treat!
The elevator didn’t yet work, however, we received help with our luggage and could store our strollers in the luggage room when not used.

Great location. Nice to have a full kitchen (Trader Joe's is not far away for provisions). Bed was comfortable. Helpful staff. Store room available for luggage. There's a laundry room on reception level where there is also a filtered water machine for drink bottles.
The rooms on the hill side have no outlook and a reduced amount of natural light, but not a biggie because we're out most of the day (and there's the rooftop deck available too). Some of the floor boards in the room above were creaky and you can hear people clomping around (why do some people need to walk like that?) or loud conversations. No extractor fan in bathroom.

Amazing hotel! View from the terrace to Alcatraz! The terrace is amazing, with a comfortable seating area! The location is right next to the famous tram stop. The staff is very polite and attentive. The best part of this hotel is the location, location, and location. It is close by fisherman's wharf, cable car, and good restaurants. The room was clean and we could also enjoy happy hour (snack and beverages), which takes place on Friday 4:30-5:30. Also the room provides a full kitchen equipped with all the dishes and utensils, and microwave. If you travel with young children, it is super helpful!
You could hear noises from other rooms. And no slippers in the room

Location was excellent, staff were fantastic and the rooms were great too. Filter Coffee provided in the room and fresh warm cookies on arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking.
It wasn't what I'd call noisy but the walls are thin so you did hear people if they were out in the common area.

The apartment has a very functional layout. We were utilising the sofa bed in living room and we had plenty of space for suitcases and access to good size kitchen. Visited in October and it was still very warm so needed the ceiling fans. There is filtered water and washing machine/ dryer on the ground floor. Friday nights was a sundowner drinks for guests, lovely to meet other travellers. Our room was on level 2 and quiet which is what we asked for.
Emailed the property ahead of arrival to confirm arrival time (after 8pm) and use of sofa bed. We never got a reply (3 emails in 7 days). Escalated to booking.com who confirmed for us. Everything was ok on arrival. 24 hour front desk.

The location, the staff and the kitchen for sure! Room size and furnishings were comfortable for the two of us. We appreciated the stocking of the kitchen in terms of utensils, appliances, dishes and cookware. We also really appreciated how the bedroom curtains maintained a decent amount of darkness even when it was light outside. The time zone change and daylight savings time change really messed with our sleep schedule this time. So the blackout curtains were nice!
The bathroom was a little tight. But, understandable and functional for sure. We really wished that there was air conditioning in the unit. But, at least it was not hot during our visit and, eventually, we did learn that if we opened the bedroom window, some of the cooler air from the common area would come it.

This was the greatest place to stay. It was actually an apartment and we could have easily stayed here for 2 weeks. Beautiful kitchen, fully supplied, TVs in bedroom and LR, gorgeous bathroom with great shower. Also there is a rooftop with couches and chairs overlooking the city! Great location. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. After we checked out they let us leave our luggage and then come back and hang out in the common area until we left for airport! The best staff ever!!!

Perfect apartment for me and my daughter, it was very spacious and clean. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and the fold out couch was very comfortable. Location was fabulous, with a tram stop right outside and walking distance to many cool restaurants, cafes, convenience store and tourist spots. All of staff were super friendly and helpful. The views from the rooftop lounge area were amazing!

Our stay at Suites at Fisherman’s Wharf exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area, which made exploring San Francisco so much easier and more enjoyable.
The location truly could not have been better. The cable car stop is right outside the hotel, and Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and many restaurants and attractions were all within easy walking distance. Despite being close to everything, the property still felt quiet, safe, and relaxing.
The suite itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Having a full kitchen was such a huge bonus for our family, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything felt clean, and very well maintained.
One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop deck. The panoramic views of the bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge were breathtaking — especially at sunset. It became one of our favorite parts of the trip.
What really sets this place apart is the combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home in the heart of San Francisco. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
