The location is excellent, near main touristic points, restaurants and bars, also it is about 10 minutes by walk from the water tram going from / to the airport. The hotel is pretty old as most of hotels in Venice, but renovated, had charming reception point with amazing ceiling with frescoes kind Michael Angelo's style:-) and chic breakfast room, however the breakfast itself was extremely poor:-( simply baked goods only, not even vegetables or mozzarella and not very tasty coffee. I was very disappointed with the breakfast. We got superior room but it was still a bit small, especially bed was very small size. Bathroom shower is not very convenient to use and the worst thing was that the toilette was exactly next to the shower with no space between the edge...In general I would say it is pretty decent hotel but extremely overpriced for the standards and service they offers.

I had book the room based on the photo provided, and I did not get the room I paid for. It turns out that there are many different "Junior Suites". The photos are deceiving on how big they are, and I would have liked to have known this from the website.

The location is in the middle of Venice, very centric with all great locations at reach. Of course, as any place in Venice, you will have to lookout for getting there through stairs. We came with our stroller and baby.
The breakfast is really good. We arrived late and quickly offered milk for our daughter.
They don't offer restaurant services, only breakfast. Not a problem since you are surrounded by restaurants and you can bring your food in the room.

The hotel was right on canal and a gondola stop right outside hotel entrance, great location for getting out exploring, although we got a bus into Venice from airport and it was roughly about 20min walk to hotel but we under estimated how many bridges and steps we had to cross in the heat with cases, a water taxi would have been a lot easier. Staff were always friendly and ready to help, breakfast was good. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed although our room was next to reception so a little nosy at times x

A genuine medieval Venetian hotel, where necessary combined with modern architecture and furnishings.
All the staff were very kind and helpful. We were given a room in the middle of the building (behind the reception) based on our reservation and on seeing it on the spot, we were given another one immediately on request.
The hotel and our room were very clean (looking under the bed for stuff to roll under, no dust bunnies there either).
All services in the room worked well, including the safe.
Breakfast for us was plentiful and varied (cereals, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee, salami, cheese, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, baked ham, fruit, cakes, pastries). What we ran out of was made up. Due to the size of the "restaurant", there are three options for breakfast. Tables are for two, but can be put together if, for example, a family needs one.
The entrance to the hotel opens onto a small canal, and the pavement in front is very busy, but this is not noticeable with the window closed. Not far away (about an 8 minute walk) is the stop for boat line 1 (Vaporetto) and a gondola crossing (Traghetto) on the large canal to the market opposite.
Right next to it are good restaurants in the basement of the building next door and within walking distance.
At the hotel we were given a small map of Venice, and information on everything we were interested in (where to find what, how to get there, ...).

There was a strong smell in the room ,this was like a smell of clean spray , but after some time you were getting a seperate smell especially from the bathroom which was not nice. I could stay not more then one night . There was a butterfly, moth like fly in the room at the night which we tried to catch in the night .

This was our second visit to the hotel. It has an excellent location a bit out of the San Marco scrum, close to the Rialto bridge and excellent restaurants.
From the train station, you take the vaporetto to the Ca D’Oro stop and then a 4 minute walk to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and coffee were very good! The staff is friendly and helpful.
There is a flight of stairs from the pavement to the first floor of the hotel, but the staff will help with luggage

Been there and loved it that’s why I choose same hotel , however …..
Your front desk staff was very snotty and I felt like she just does not like to be disturbed , on what ever she was encoding . She need a to lighten up from weary travelers who arrive and expect a pleasant experience.
