The location of the hotel was perfect, close to most of the attractions we wanted to visit, including Times Sq, the sky scrapers, Broadway etc. Subway connections were also very convenient.

I was forced to pay 43 usd per day for internet and for the phone line which never worked. I feel cheated.
I was charged bomb for buffet breakfast whuch was not available and was given only a croisont and a juice. I will never rrcomond nor will ever cone to this hotel. Worst experience of my life. 4 days in hell.

Everything, starting with the rude unprofessional staff , bad attitude, worst customer service they should not be working in hotels industry , specially the lady manager was there , then rooms are dirty , dusty no air conditioning they offered to put a fan in the room with 95 degree temperature .

During my 4 nights stay I have changed 3 rooms. 1st room No ac working, 2nd room same Ac stopped working and finally when I shouted on them then they gave renovated good room and unfortunately that ac also stopped working last mid night and never started it again. First 2 rooms were very old and not worth of money. If you complaint they said nothing with them and they are answerable of it. Contact booking.com and worst experience. Will never book room again through booking.com for sure as if you don’t like money then both like nothing related to them and no refund. Worst stay of my life. Horrible helpless and pathetic

staff made whatever was in their power to make things good, e.g. good cleaning service, decent attendance at the entrance, etc. Extremely central.
the room did not respond to the expectations. It had water damage in ceiling and walls that had not been taken care of properly, the carpet floors are very old. The included breakfast is at the level of a summer camp. The carrying staff made their own deal with drivers to get you to the airport charging 50% more than the yellow taxis. The AC system would reset itself to polar temperature conditions which provoked me a cold.

The staff was excellent. I can’t brag about them enough. They were very professional, helpful, and friendly. I had an issue and it was taking care of in a very quickly.
The picture on the website needs to definitely be updated. The Wi-Fi was horrible and it was hard to even watch tv because it kept losing service.

Really inconvenient when you don't have a refrigerator or a microwave in the room.
Your TV, I'm blinking in and out. So do not work to call out to the front desk. You had to walk down to the desk.

I was scared by the reviews founded on internet but they were crazy wrong. I have been many times in NYC and this is the best hotel where I stayed. We had one renewed room, so maybe that improved our staying, but everything was perfect.
We did not have breakfast included, but we saw it would have been a coffee and a croissant in a paper bag. My suggestion is to improve that service.

Air Conditioner did not work. Traveling from Europe in a 30 hour day trying to sleep in extremely hot room with high humidity was an awful night. Even the service-man reacted when he entered the room - "you can't sleep here.... but the hotel is full so there is no other rooms free for you....'
Someone from the lobby called me twice on the room-phone at 3am to ask my name...
Was promised a discount, but my credit card was fully charged for the stay. If the promise for a discount had been held I would consider to come back.

Excellent location - central park, times square, metro, bus stops, and plenty of delis and restaurants right outside the front door.
Rooms were cleaned & towels changed daily.
Bedding and towels were clean and in perfect condition.
Rooms were very tired and in need of redecoration and repair - ripped bed frames (at the base), tatty wallpaper, tired carpets and bathrooms. The photos were not reflective of reality of our room. Floor 18 & above did seem to have been renovated so had fresh carpets and walls and I assume fresher rooms too!

They were incredibly accommodating to our group by allowing us to leave our bags before and after check-out while we explored and helped make our trip to NYC sooo much easier!

After seeing the room, I was glad there was running water and no bed bugs.
There had been a flood. So, the carpet was soaked. Our new room hadn't been cleaned; the shower wall had a lot of someone's hair. The TV didn't work, no microwave, robes, or slippers. Run-down looking in halls, and in rooms. Babies crying in the hall at 7am and a party in the halls late at night (12am-2am).
