We stayed a week in this hotel during the Thanksgiving week. What we liked: - Great Location (Times Square is very close) - Spacious room - Big and comfortable bed - Kind staff at reception and housekeeping

- Rest of the staff do not look like that they are happy to work at the hotel or want any guests since they never smile. One of the portier and one bartender (her name starts with C..) were without any reason very rude to us and this makes the whole stay disappointing. - Hotel is a bit dated - Price was too high for value we got

The staff was very helpful and polite. We were always welcomed back in by someone, and there was always someone available if we needed help for something.

We loved our stay there, although we usually prefer harder mattresses, but we slept fine. The only thing that bothered us was, after our first night, we had room cleaning and the bed was made, the garbage bin emptied, but not after our second night, and since we stayed in for three nights, it would have been nice to have at least the garbage bins changed. But otherwise it was a wonderful stay!

The fact that we paid about $1000AUD per night as it was the festival Christmas period and were advised we would get bottled water in our room daily well on first day yes from second no We also requested the day before for 1 pm check our at front desk and they told us it was no problem as the hotel was as not full however at 12.08 I have two male staff knocking on the door telling me I needed to get out. I did mention to them I requested a 1pm check out their response was they weren’t aware and I need to go The fact they knock on your door 8 mins past check. Our is absolutely disgusting especially if your paying close too 600US. I travel every 3-4 months for business and never did I see such behaviour. I understand if it was full and rooms needed to be cleaned urgently but this was not the case

Times Square Hotel Location convenient for walking to many attractions and restaurants etc. Staff all very friendly, polite and helpful, especially the Doormen who we're Brilliant . We had a King studio which was very comfortable, lovely large room, bed comfy and great large bathtub Stayed 7 nights visiting from uk 16th-23rd December and although New York very busy and the Hotel itself I believe was either fully or nearly fully booked it never felt like it, no queuing for elevators, Lounge Restaurant etc Would Definitely Recommend

Everyone was amazing. There was this one door man who lit up like we were the most important people on the planet every time we came back. Housekeeping did such a great job every day! I would say closer to 9.5 rather than 9.0.

The room was beyond clean and well maintained but the furniture was a little difficult to get out of, I assume it was just a tad old. It did not look old or dingy in any way, just a little loose in the springs. We usually have our first breakfast in the Hotel's restaurant. It was good. I had no complaints but we definitely had better elsewhere.

It was a great location, it is closer to Times Square than you think. Beautiful historic building and giant rooms by New York City standards.

If you’re on the side of the building next to Momma Mia you can hear when the show lets out and they play music. It’s wasn’t terrible but you can definitely tell. Also the beds are a little old (coils are definitely broke on some beds) and could use replacing.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. Services we're awesome....we were tratwd worth care the entire time. The restaurant is adequate, food and room services were all excellent.

I'll admit, the bathroom was small and hair was found twice, Room service is not 24 hours but okay. We attended during the snow storm. The rooms do not have microwaves or fridge space for leftovers.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love the location, private and close to Time Square. It has special memories for us over the years.

This trip compared to past the staff seemed very unhappy. When leaving the doorman didn't even help load luggage into the Uber (was Dec 31st morning so very busy but still). Just not as friendly as past experiences.

We have booked the grand suite, but the property feels old now. It really does feel like it needs a proper refurbishment although I’m sure that would be exceptionally expensive. The grand suite that we had had an issue with the Heating such that turning it on made exceptionally loud in the evening whilst even when it was off, it was still whistling. We did enquire about changing rooms but the other ground suite was even noisier with the wind. I’m sure it would be a very expensive job to replace all of the Heating units as well as some of the windows, but do feel that the hotel would benefit from this.

The hotel is undeniably beautiful, comfortable, and very well located. The rooms are spacious, though somewhat limited in natural light.

It would have been great to have a kettle as the weather was really cold. Regrettably, while the physical aspects of the property were positive, the service experience did not meet the standard one would expect. After a pleasant welcome upon arrival, the attentiveness of the reception staff diminished, and our inquiries often seemed to be treated as inconveniences.
