The "Executive" rooms we stayed in were just okay. The mattresses need to be replaced. The refrigerator was missing from one of the two rooms. The shower needs to be cleaned with more attention because mold was observed in may locations.

Had issues with the receptionist at the time of checkin, I had paid for my reservation in booking.com and she insisted it was paid for. After consistently insisting that she should double check because it was getting embarrassing she confirmed saying it was an oversight.

Location, location, location the hotel is in the heart of Manhattan, which is what I was looking for
Several things: One, the hotel elevator broke to Floor 18, and I had to take the service elevator. Also, I signed up for breakfast with the room, and the hotel had no dining facilities. I paid for something I didnt get.

Location is the best! The room was big and very spacious with three (3) different views of Manhattan. Parking was included in our stay which was great!
We booked an Executive (renovated) room with 2 Queen beds. At check-in they upgraded us under the reason that our room had issues. They gave us the One Bedroom Suite (room 1931) wich is pretty much an apartment. The downsize to it was that the carpet smelled bad, the room had a lot of dirt and dust, no air conditioning was available as they switched all rooms to heater, the sofa beds were uncomfortable, the kitchen counter missed the chairs, and the dinner table missed one chair. Two (2) dinner chairs were broken on one side.
For air conditioning they bring us a fan, and the option to open the windows. For the carpet bad smell, I bought a Lysol and spread it across the room and the carpet. We requested a room change but it became available the night before we were leaving.
I want to be honest and objective and point out that the room is great and very spacious. I will encourage the management to fix the small but important things I've mentioned so that the room may provide a better experience for future guests. Hopefully, they'll read this feedback and improve.

they did not have the room I reserved and gave us a room that was much less-we had reserved an executive class room and was assigned a room without the same amenities- no refrig/iPad/ wrong bed sizes. I was on the 17th floor in a corner suite (i foolishly paid to upgrade) from the moment you leave the elevator the carpet and walls are dirty and it just looks so old and tired. My room was huge but even with all the windows (corner suite) it was dark and dingy with very little artificial light to make up for it. the bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp cotton but the wallpaper was lifting on the joins the paintwork was scratched and dirty the bathroom needed gutting the sink and the bath taps leaked plugholes didn't drain and consequently when showering I was shin - deep in tepid soapy water - altogether hugely disappointing and I absolutely won't be staying there again - Mine was supposed to be executive class, heaven knows what the standard room are like.

The location that is ALL!!!!
I paid almost $1,000 for a two-night stay. They did not even have a chair in the room and it's called the executive class. The coffee machine that was in the room was not even plugged in and I would have had to move furniture in order for me to plug the coffee machine in. I called for assistance because there was no complimentary bottled water in the room and when I called to ask for some, the employee told me that they did not give out complimentary bottled water. Again, I paid almost $1,000 for a two-night stay and could not even have bottled water included. Only after speaking with the manager did they provide me a complimentary bottle of water. The breakfast was a grab and go which was not mentioned online when I booked the room. Besides for the location, this hotel had absolutely nothing to offer. I will never stay at this location again and I would never advise any of my traveling family members or friends to ever stay at such a place. I am very upset that I wasted so much money in a place that did not have anything to offer. This hotel was a complete joke I cannot believe they call themselves The Executive class Hotel. Shame on this facility. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

The location. Right in the heart of Midtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Free parking in the garage next door (for the length of the stay)
Hotel had not switched over from heat to air conditioning so the room was hot when we first got there. They did open our windows and bring us complimentary fans which helped

Love that it was within walking distance of some of NYC main attractions. House keeping made sure that we were ok and had everything we needed.
Front desk could let patrons know that theres only one elevator for two specific floors such as the 18th and 5th floor. It would help tremendously with the confusion.

Broken blinds on the window... Unable to close them.. Main room needs more light. reading lamps that were Built into the bed needed light bulbs. Scounces on the wall next to the bed. Had the world's dimmest light bulbs. The sad part is that search comments are common in online reviews of this establishment. Apparently no one pays attention. I assume the housekeeping staff Doesn't report these conditions, or if they do, they are ignored. They have a new guest experience. Director, I suppose could visit every room in the hotel to see what's messed up. But I didn't find anything particularly executive about is experience, other than the. Designated elevator for the 18th floor, which was appreciated.

The service is excellent! The staff are skilled and polite. The room is very spacious. The beds are comfortable. Its very convenient to so many sites in Manhattan.
Breakfast was mediocre. Prepackaged, pastries, red, delicious, apples, and bottled juice. For what theyre charging for a room with breakfast included, I expected a little more than that.

Location We were put on the 18th floor which had a direct elevator. Truly this was a nice feature.
The window blind did not work. We were dealing with night lights from the outside. The AC did not work well. The room never cooled down. We had to order a fan to help to sleep.

Breakfast. Breakfast was included in our package. But when we went for breakfast, they had nothing left. The staff was not at all cooperative, they said if it is gone it is gone, we cannot do anything. The main reason for booking MTS was because of it's location and complimentary breakfast. We had kids with us, so we have to get breakfast outside even after paying for it at the MTS hotel. it was highly disappointing stay

Tv in room didnt work. They said they would have it fixed, they didnt. Front desk was swamped with complaints from so many people, we couldnt reach them by phone or in person (line was always too long). Had to look for a housekeeping cart to swipe toilet paper.

The location.
There was construction on the floor above us as well as on our floor. No notifications about this. The breakfast which I paid extra for was awful, a piece of fruit, a small drink, and a stale muffin, all of this dropped in a paper bag, I was expected to sit in the very shabby lobby and eat with that breakfast on my lap!! I would never stay here again and will discourage anyone I know to not stay here as well!

The staff was extremely rude, except for the manager. I had someone try to enter my room while I was in the shower, and fortunately, I had the latch latched, so they could not get in.
