Location was good. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. View was fantastic. Water pressure and shower temp were great. The light on headboard and in closet were nice.
The view was exceptional!
Room was super small, smaller than a cruise ship cabin. We were told we had two queen beds. They were full size and shorter than normal. The pillows were smaller than normal. Bed was otherwise comfy.
The bathroom door was too small to cover the opening and with the size of the room, everyone was a part of the toilet experience. The shower was a tiny stall that was difficult to move in. Rainfall shower head would have made it more useful and spacious.
The air handling unit was so loud it woke me. When tv was on, you couldn't hear it over the roar. If you turned up tv, when the unit stopped, the volume was excessive. The unit came one every 3 minutes or so. It was awful.
There is nowhere to open a suitcase other than on the bed or in front of the door.

Great location, easy access to subway, close to Manhattans attractions. Lovely neighbourhood with florists on the street. Our room was on 43rd floor with amazing city view - WTC One. Room was clean, daily housekeeping, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and polite.
Breakfast could have more variety, some vegetable options would be a plus. Its usually quite busy, manageable, if you turn up early. Room rather on the small size, limited storage. There was a mix up upon on checking in - room we have originally booked was not available, receptionist offered to move us next day, but in the end, the room offered was satisfactory for us, so end up staying in it.

its SUPER close to the main nyc attractions so you can walk pretty much everywhere. The rooms are not exactly big but are extremely cozy.
the only thing I did not like was the breakfast. its super poor, you dont have healthy options and you end up eating eggs and bacon or sausages. more fruit and nuts would be great. Theres only a juice machine so you dont have real juice

I read the previous reviews and was scared of the lift wait and breakfast, I never waited more than 2 minutes for a lift, both leaving my room and going to it from the lobby. breakfast was nice, dont expect a posh 5* breakfast but theres plenty of food, catered for everyone, it is a bit busy but well
handled by the staff - I honestly cannot fault this hotel.

The location is amazing. It is a 2 min walk to the subway. Time Square, Herald Square, and lots of restaurants are all within a 20 minute walk if youre not a subway person.
The breakfast is good. I enjoyed the oatmeal. My husband enjoyed the potatoes and cereal options. We saw lots of people with bagels, eggs and sausage. Its definitely worth taking a look at.
The staff were all really helpful and super kind! I cannot remember his name, but one guy gave us really good food recommendations.
The room is a little smaller than were used to for a king room but we also understand that comes with most NYC hotels.
The shower caused the bathroom floor to get really wet. Its also kind of small. Im 58 190lbs and my husband is 66 240lbs. Both of us were a little cramped in space width wise. The height of the shower was fine.

Room was clean, comfortable and looked newly refurbished. Small as expected for nyc but they used the space very well providing coffee, a small table, mini fridge and microwave.
We arrived early and Rachael at the reception was very attentive,, and kindly checked us in early in just a few minutes.
Great location, subway line 1 station on the corner of the hotel's block.
Breakfast and elevators are a little crowded in the morning, but I still think it was worth for the price we got in NY with breakfast included.

Second time at this hotel and we will be back again! The best location in New York in our opinion - a central but quiet street, not scary to walk around at night, subway stations a few steps away. Large rooms relatively to New York, clean rooms. We were upgraded to a room on the 42nd floor (out of 46) with a view of the Empire State Building. There is also a good breakfast, completely sufficient to get something quick to eat and drink before going out for the day.
The door to the toilet and shower could have been better designed to allow more privacy. At peak times the elevators can be slow, even though there are 4 of them. Annoying noise coming from the air conditioner, it didn't bother us, but it could bother those who are light sleepers.

The location is superb. 20-minute walk from Times Square, 10 minutes walk to Madison Square Gardens, 28th Street subway lines at end of block - with the 1 line that takes you to times square and down to south ferry.
The room - great size for manhattan standards. Microwave, fridge, safe, iron, and board - all there. Bed was extremely comfortable with good air con.
Bathroom - brilliant shower, hot and powerful. Spotlessly clean.

Not my first time, I was there last year and city view is my favourite and that Ill be back again.
I wish that the breakfast is better and last year we were getting bottles of water not this time.

Clean and new.
So tiny. The post is deceiving. Pictures are deceiving. If you go to the Springhill suites site it says studio and this post doesnt. If youre traveling with 4 adults Id recommend two rooms. There is zero privacy in the bathroom due to the small space and sliding door. There is no room for your luggage.
The air condition wouldnt go below 68 and has a motion sensor. If you leave the room for a certain amount of time it will turn off the air and you will return to a hot/humid room. The fridge can only be turned on for 2 hours at a time. If you want things cold good luck. If you had medicine or baby milk, Id look other places. When we asked the staff about the air condition they sent up maintenance who understood our frustration and recommended we crack a window. Insane.
For $1500 for 3 nights, the value of this room is terrible.

Comfortable bed, daily maid service, good location, aircon, window opened.
Maid service arrived first 2 days at 5 pm when I was getting ready to go out for the evening to special functions and were not happy to come back as their shift was finishing. On Sunday maid service arrived when I had retuned to the room around 1pm to change for an afternoon event and had to stand in the room to wait for the maid to finish. This is NOT the mids fault but poor planning / logistics on the hotels part.
Breakfast was a nightmare. Too many people grabbing the food no matter what time I went down - 645, 915 etc. the later the time,the more limited the options were for yoghurt, and cereal. The very kind staff couldnt keep up and were very pleasant and helpful throughout. Breakfast hours shouldve been extended to cater for the number of people in the hotel.
The doors of the rooms slam very loudly and also shook my bed head. People probably dont realise how loud but there should be some sort of stopper to close doors.

Close to everything. Subway station right around the corner. Complimentary breakfast was good
On our first day we had a different room type because the hotel was overbooked, but it was handled correctly by staff
