Bed bugs in our room . They took out over $100 in 2 days for no reason. They wouldnt compensate a courtesy stay for another night like the desk associate said she was going to get for us. They have not refunded our money. And the manager was rude abs disrespectful towards me this morning. Raising his voice and threatening to call law enforcement on me. And I told him to go ahead and I would have him arrested for illegally withdrawing money from my bank account without authorization. Our room was already paid for before we got there. Frustrated with many aspects ie: elevator was very slow. We inquired as to the reason and were told there was an electrical problem. (This was frightening to me because I’m leery of elevators to begin with.). Upon entering room we found only 1 bar of soap,one half used roll of toilet paper, one drinking cup, one coffee cup, a musty smell, the dresser drawers would open by themselves. Housekeeping and maintenance did take care of those problems/deficiencies which was appreciated. The electric charging sockets on the bedside lamp didn’t work.
Another problem was electronics keys that didn’t work two of the four nights that we stayed there.

The view of the mountains was nice.
The room was filthy. Had to ask after check-in to have the room cleaned. Not even sure if the bedding was clean. Found toys in the corner from the last occupants. Rug was dirty. Bed platform was coming apart. Corners of the room had built up dirt. The bathroom shelves where the towels were stored were dirty. The bathroom floor, corners, and behind the toilet were filthy. Ceiling was stained and dirty in the bathroom. Outlets were pulling out of the wall in the bathroom, and some outlets in the common area of the room did not work.
There were numerous days that there was no coffee at the complimentary breakfast. The first day, there was no food as well.
I was charged a different rate each day of my stay, starting at $143.10 and going as high as $226.80, not including tax.
The hotel, in general, looks like it needs a redo.
I am not one that normally complains, but this visit had too much to overlook.
My past visits at LA Quinta hotels have always been satisfactory. This visit was highly disappointing.

The breakfast was always COMPLETELY EMPTY. I went to the lobby 3 times this morning and was only able to get ONE sausage link. So I settled for a cup of cereal with some lukewarm warm milk.
It took forever to get someone to get me a working tv remote. The front desk guy was rude and said ‘he was just the night auditor and couldn’t help’. I had just drove 10 hours, on orders, with my military K-9. We just wanted to watch some tv and go to sleep. We won’t be back to this location. And don’t get me started on the price! My goodness! For an outdated La Quinta, way overpriced!

We had NO room service for our four day stay. A/C was broken in first room. No lounge chair in second. Halls never vacuumed in four days. Had to ask for towel and toilet paper. One of the mattresses was old and terrible. It somehow managed to be both saggy and hard. The other mattress was ok. There were two of us, so it was necessary to use both beds. The carpeting was stained and worn. The HVAC fan makes an odd noise and needs service, but at least it wasn’t loud. Overall the room looked tired and rather sad.

The refrigerator didn't work (yes, it was plugged in). Pillows were tiny and lumpy and terrible. The hall smelled like pickle juice. The tub handle was broken and at first wouldn't turn on, just so spun, then suddenly went full blast and wouldn't turn off.

The room was disgustingly dirty. The carpet was stained and had rips in it, the furniture had stains on it. The bath tub did not drain water properly so I had to stand in dirty water while showering. The toliet was bot cleaned. There was lots of noises you could hear the neighbors walking around and talking. You could hear all the neighbors doors slam each time someone left. It was a terrible experience staying here and I will never stay here again. The pool was dirty and the jacuzzi was not as warm as I would have preferred. And the elevator was very slow and unwelcoming I honestly was afraid of getting stuck in it.

The location was in a good residential neighborhood. The hotel is walking distance to several nice food establishments. The pool was nice at night. The hotel itself was dated with warn carpets and walls that needed a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom walls in our room had been patched several times. The curtains were off the track and did not close properly. They placed double sided tape on the curtains and the wall to prevent the large gap where the curtains had fallen from the track, creating big gaps of space that allowed onlookers from the parking lot to see into the room. The free coffee was cool when pumped out of the caraffe.

Disjointed, discombobulated front desk. I booked a room and changed the number of dates from 2 to 1 and then back to 2 nights. This is the limit of what I accept blame for. Perhaps I was asking for trouble by changing my mind so much. But this doesn't excuse them from not keeping track. When I arrived they checked me in and I thought everything was ok. The next morning I reminded them I wanted room service (you have to request it). They were confused and said they only had me for 1 night. I showed them the reservation. She looked through her system and saw her error, I don't know what she saw but she said she "fixed" it by changing it to 2 nights. Weeks later I notice on my bank statement that I was charged a fee for one night. I tried calling them to sort this out but they kept insisting it was my bank's fault and to call my bank and that there was nothing they could do for me. I tried explaining the multiple changes of the number of nights to them but they were confused/unwilling to listen and just kept telling me to call my credit card. My credit card does an automatic dispute and NOW suddenly La Quinta wants to get involved...they send a flurry of receipts that just say they charged me for a no-show (even though I was clearly there) and no real proof of anything and denied the dispute. So now I've paid for my 2 nights AND an additional charge for a clerical mistake on their end that they didn't want to bother talking to me about.
Another sign of an incompetent, non-existent front desk -- breakfast on the second day was missing many key items so I went to the front desk to ask if they can contact whoever stocks the breakfast table. Some guy is there telling me he's not really a front desk person, he's just watching the desk and that there's nothing he can do but hope that the breakfast person appears.

Staff was nice, breakfast was pretty good, and bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy.
Dirty elevator buttons, filthy drapes in the room ( we wouldn't even open our curtains because we didn't want to touch them) and all carpet in the hotel needs replacing because of the dirtiness. We have to come back to Tucson in two weeks but we won't be staying there.

The lobby was nice and the beds were comfortable.
The elevator didn’t work the entire time we were there so lugging a bunch of suitcases and souvenir bags up 3 flights of stairs was really inconvenient.
The whole hotel was dirty with stained carpets and walls except for the lobby. Bathrooms were moldy with paint chipping in the tub.
The only vending and ice machines we found were all the way on the first floor so we had to take the stairs.

HORRIBLE management, rude and uncaring staff. Card key had to be rekeyed EVERY DAY, breakfast room wasn't open when they said it would be, Items weren't replaced and my phone calls to the manager were completely ignored.

Good breakfast.
Older, but not bad. Reason we picked this over a comparable hotel was the heated pool. But it was not. Also says facility is non smoking, but there were cigarette butts all around the hot tub.
A/C pretty much didn’t work.

The room was nice. The heater an AC worked which is a bonus with the temps swinging from 70-40F throughout the day.
Only thing I found was the middle elevator is a bit sketchy. Other than that it was good.
